Touch Our Hearts Oh God!

There is a time, I know not when, A place, I know not where,
Which marks the destiny of men To heaven or despair.
There is a line by us not seen Which crosses every path,
The hidden boundary between God’s patience and His wrath.

How long may men go on in sin? How long will God forbear?
Where does hope end, and where begin The confines of despair?
One answer from those skies is sent, “You who from God depart,
Now hear the Good News and repent, and harden not your heart.”

Oh trust  in a dear Savior whose work made wrath relent
Receive the gift of grace fall on your knees and now repent.
Confess your sin to Jesus  for He is faithful He is true
He'll cleanse all your unrighteousness, forgive and  make you new.

Touch our hearts, Oh God- Your touch is what we need
For sin sick souls require-from sin to be freed.
Come now still and  small-or touch us with your fire
When we receive your touch-You are our heart's desire.
Touch us anew with glory for this glory we pray
That You would touch us all and touch us all the way

When on that hardened heart God knocks, open the door to find
An exit there from darkness  and new sight for the blind
Oh, bask in blessed assurance   and see the old man changed
From lawless into flawless,  then eternal life is gained!
