Highest Place

Lord raise in me a deep cherishing
Things of the gospel of Your good grace
Of the great  and holy, central things
Treasures that take the highest place

The holiness of our Great God,
The utter ugliness of sin,
The hopeless helplessness of man,
And the deep depravity we`re in.

These are the truths that we would learn
The glories we embrace
So we`ll pursue our prime concern
Treasures that take the highest place

The all-sufficient death of Christ,
That justifies by faith alone,
The sanctifying work of the Spirit,
The one sacrifice that atones

The glory of Christ’s return,
And the final judgment day
The inheritance for which we yearn
In Your presence e`er  to stay!

These are the truths that we would learn
The glories we embrace
So we`ll pursue our prime concern
Treasures that take the highest place

Holy Fire (Fight the Darkness)

Christ has called us out of darkness
And into His marvelous light
He has called us in our blindness
And given supernatural sight.

We do battle on a battlefield
We Fight the fight and do not yield
We take offense and the light employ
The works of the devil to destroy

Its not enough for people of light to sit in the light
Or show the light or preach the light
We are called out to go and the darkness fight
We are agents of redemption out to set things right.

We must drive out darkness with annointed deeds
And wrestle with forces that men`s flesh feeds
We carry a flame into the darkest night
Love lit with holy fire like a torch burns bright

Its not enough for people of light to sit in the light
Or show the light or preach the light
We are called out to go and the darkness fight
We are agents of redemption out to set things right

We destroy strongholds that are raised
With weapons that leave our foes amazed
Divine power is ours to wield
And by the grace of God we will not yield.
And by the grace of God we will not yield.
Armed with a holy fire we will not yield.

Magnificent Merciful Marvelous Lord

From generation to generation,
From age to age the same,
His mercy is for those who fear Him
And holy is His name.

My soul magnifies the Lord
And my spirit rejoices and sings.
You exalt those of humble estate,
You fill the hungry with good things.

I love you more than a tongue can tell,
Magnificent merciful marvelous Lord!
In Your presence I would dwell
Magnificent merciful marvelous Lord

You bring down the mighty from their thrones
And scatter the proud in their thoughts.
The rich You have sent away empty,
But the humble and needy you`ve sought.

The merciful will receive mercy,
Our magnificent master will bless
The heart that is humble before Him
The contrite who His name confess.

I love you more than a tongue can tell
Magnificent merciful marvelous Lord!
In Your presence I would dwell
Magnificent merciful marvelous Lord
Magnificent merciful marvelous Lord
Magnificent merciful marvelous Lord

Behold the Wonder of the King

He is coming, He is coming!
Behold the wonder of the King
He is o`er the darkness dawning
Come- the love of God to bring!

He is come- to be our Savior
He is come- to be our Lord
He bestows Gods perfect favor
All that`s holy He affords

Behold the wonder of the King
Life and light to all He brings
Bring your life an offering
Lift your voice and with us sing
Behold the wonder of the King

Let your need well up inside you
Let your darkness devastate
Let His sheltering wing now hide you
From the fall and sin`s estate

So prepare your heart for advent
Of the King of righteousness
Sweep the leaven, so to repent,
Now examine and confess...

Behold the wonder of the King
Life and light to all He brings
Bring your life an offering
Lift your voice and with us sing
Behold the wonder of the King

Seek Him in anticipation
Revel in expectancy
God will bring His revelation
To the soul that thirsts to see.

Let His word dwell richly in You
Gather `round it`s glorious fire
He comes to make all things new
He fulfills our deep desire.

Behold the wonder of the King
Life and light to all He brings
Bring your life an offering
Lift your voice and with us sing
Behold the wonder of the King
Behold the wonder of the King
Behold the wonder of the King
