We Are the Kingdom

The mighty King of Glory rules in heaven and on earth

Without Him we do nothing  that is of eternal worth

He is the Word eternal, the source life and light

Our strength is in our Lord, and in the  power of His might

 

Our King reigns in splendor, and He reigns o’er every breath

In Him we find our very source, the power of life o’er death

The one we pledge allegiance to is the ruler over all

He is worthy of our worship so on our knees we fall

 

We are the kingdom for we have a King

Made in His image His glory to bring

As priests in His service,  the impossible is done

Clothed in His armor the victory is won

 

He is the warrior and the groom, and we His Holy Bride

Our King is now our dwelling place- in His courts we abide

Our King died for his subjects so now for Him we live

We serve a sovereign Savior so all praise to Him we give 

 

We are the kingdom for we have a King

Made in His image His glory to bring

As priests in His service,  the impossible is done

Clothed in His armor the victory is won

Hope for the Heart

Why are you down cast, O my soul, 

And why are you in turmoil within me?

Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, 

When my salvation and my God I see !

Hope in God, yes hope in God

For in this hope we were saved. 

Hope in God, hope in God

Our God has overcome the grave

Live in the resurrection hope that He gave!

The grace of God teaches us to live 

Self-controlled, godly and upright 

While we wait for the blessed hope—

The appearing of the glory of our Christ

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy 

And peace as you trust Him in this hour 

So that you may overflow, overflow with hope 

Filled by the Holy Spirit’s power...

All My Confidence

I  have no holiness to offer

Jesus be my holiness

I have no goodness, Lord to proffer

Jesus be my righteousness

Lord I have no Sacrifice

All I need you will provide

Could not pay my ransom’s price

In your work I will confide

Lord you are my strong defender

All my life to Thee I render

He Knows Our Heart

The Lord Almighty knows our heart (Jer 17:10) 

He formed us from the dust (Gen 2:7-9)

Before creation He had days 

and plans ordained for us (Romans 8:29)

He gives us life and divine love

 that we may come to know (Eph 1:18)

A future and a hope in His steadfast love  

as on our way we go (Jer 29:11, Lam 3:21-22)

He formed us in the womb (Ps 139:13-16)

And frees us from the tomb (1 Cor 6:14)

The King of Heaven knows our heart 

He keeps us as His sheep (John 2:24, Psalm 23)

He rules and reigns in righteousness 

within the hearts He keeps (Is 32:1, Col 3:15)

We hear his voice and follow-

He protects his own so well (John 10:27-28)

The Son who is beloved (Matt 3:17)

Has come to our hearts to dwell (Eph 3:17)

He secured our salvation (Romans 8:29-30)

So we are a new creation (2 Cor 5:17)

The Holy Spirit knows our heart, 

And to his child reveals (Romans 8:27, 1 Cor 2:10-11)

Mysteries we could  never know; 

He shows us what is real (1 Cor 2:12-16)

By the power of the Spirit,

Men of dust may be transformed (Gal 5:22-23)

So by the Spirit we are changed  

and to the Son conform (Romans 8:29)

He sweeps out the leaven (I Cor 5:7,Psalm 51:7)

And fits our hearts for heaven (Col  1:12, 2 Cor 5:5)

The Father, Spirit, and the Son 

know all the hearts of men (Psalm 139:23-24)

Our God has surely spoken 

and our hearts has cleansed from Sin (Eph 5:25-26, Heb 1:1-2))

He writes His Word upon our hearts 

and gives our heart’s eye sight (Jer 31:33, Eph 1:18)

Abundant and eternal life are ours 

as we walk His path of light (John 10:10b, 17:3, 1 John 1:7)

Praise the Father, Spirit, Son, (John 14:20, 17:20-23)

Now with GOD our hearts are One. (1 Cor 3:16, 6:17, 19)

Washed Away

There has been a great exchange, and I am truly blessed

Christ gave his life upon the tree to give me righteousness

He became our sin that day upon that rugged cross

He bled and died, was crucified to take on all my loss

He washed my sins away, Jesus washed my sins away

I have confessed now I am blessed

He washed my sins away

Amazing love how can it be? This supernatural trade

A perfect  spotless lamb of God upon an altar laid

There He would be my substitute , this alone would be enough

To stay the very wrath of God because of divine love

He washed my sins away, Jesus washed my sins away

I have confessed now I am blessed

He washed my sins away

Oh the deep deep sacrifice, oh this gift of grace

He put my sin to death with Him as he died in my place

So now I reckon I am dead to sin, no prisoner to its woes

By the power of resurrected life my Savior He arose

He washed my sins away, Jesus washed my sins away

I have confessed now I am blessed

He washed my sins away

Now God  has justified His own and doing so is just

For in this mighty work of grace the lost sheep come to trust

He has become our ransom, by His stripes we are healed

Now to live is Christ and to die is gain By His Spirit we are sealed

The Lord of Time

Time passes much too quickly as it marches on

Flowing into memories of what is said and done

Though we may try to seize the day, it will not be caught

In the mighty mills of God solace may be sought

He is the Lord of time He is the ruler of our ways

He is true Love divine, He is the ancient of days

He holds our moments in his hands 

Each moment fits within His plans

Everlasting is his mercy ever present is our praise

Time trudges on so slowly when life is running late

We kick against the goads of love as we anticipate

An end to suffering and strife, awaiting what’s to come

Our patience ever falters, We want to see it done

He is the Lord of time He is the ruler of our ways

He is true Love divine, He is the ancient of days

He holds our moments in his hands 

Each moment fits within His plans

Everlasting is his mercy ever present is our praise

And though the years run slow or fast

We will reach our journeys end at last

When we learn to rest, in His blessedness

And our souls on Christ are cast

He is the Lord of time He is the ruler of our ways

He is true Love divine, He is the ancient of days

He holds our moments in his hands

The Steadfast Love of the Lord

This I call to mind, and therefore I have hope:

This I call to mind, on this truth I depend 

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; 

His mercies never come to an end.”
