The Beauty of the Lord

The Beauty of the Earth seas and skies
These three sing in one accord
The good the beautiful and true
All sing of the beauty of the Lord

And it’s more than just a story
Its more than just a tale
It’s the witness of His glory
And it will never fail
Till He returns
And so I will yearn
To see with eyes of faith
And to feel our passions burn

To you oh Lord we raise
A song of hope a song of praise
We’ll sing that song for all our days
So we sing of the beauty of the Lord

In the earth and in the starfields
The beauty of the Lord is revealed
To whomever ever has eyes to see
It’s glorious picture it will yield

And it’s more than just a story
Its more than just a tale
It’s the witness of His glory
And it will never fail
Till He returns
And so I will yearn
To see with eyes of faith
And to feel our passions burn

To you oh Lord we raise
A song of hope a song of praise
We’ll sing that song for all our days
So we sing of the beauty of the Lord

We Dreamed of Glory

Here in this cradle, here in this manger,
Here in this lowly place
Here in this danger, he is no stranger
Here we can see God’s face

Now glory is a human
Now glory pays a cost
The glory that we dreamed of
Looks like weakness and loss

We dreamed of glory, how could we know?
The Lord of Hosts could stoop so low
And heaven would come to earth
To declare His matchless worth

We dreamed of glory, how could we know?
The Lord of Hosts could stoop so low
And heaven would come to earth
To declare His matchless worth

What Kind of Love is This

What kind of love is this
That saves me from Hell’s dark abyss?
I pray a prayer to this bold end
My Savior’s kiss to apprehend.

Precious love, precious lover
Of my soul- there is none other
This my passion, this my pleasure
This is my perfect priceless treasure

What kind of love is this
The depths of which I dare not miss
Are its heights known only above
Oh this marvelous and matchless love

Precious love, precious lover
Of my soul- there is none other
This my passion, this my pleasure
This is my perfect priceless treasure

Let Us Sing!

Let us sing our devotion to the Lord
Let us sing with emotion to the Lord
He is worthy Now to be adored
So let us sing unto the Lord

Every flower shall open
Every rock cry out
We will place our hope in
You and sing and shout

Oh we’ll laugh together as we dance and sing
Of all the mercies we have ever known
We’ll become an offering to our Lord and King
Bringing glory to our Lord alone

Let us sing our devotion to the Lord
Let us sing with emotion to the Lord
He is worthy Now to be adored
So let us sing unto the Lord

Lord Help Me Hear

Speak Lord and let me hear
Give me a listening ear
That I may apprehend
The voice of my Lord,
That Your word may it rend
My heart like a sword

Separate between the marrow and bone
Until all I perceive is You alone
Lord help me hear
Lord help me fear

My heart will rejoice
When I hear your voice
I want to obey
Every word that you say
So Lord help me hear
Make your voice clear

I would do your will
I would walk your way
Write your words on my heart
Each and every day

I seek your word And I seek your will
My mind your thoughts you fill
Lord out of the chaos and out of the noise
Make a silent place in my heart to rejoice

That the way is obvious
As we go from dust to dust
In your Word Lord may I trust
When I hear your Word

Help me to hear
And help me to fear
With humble attention
As you draw near
Make your pleasure clear
Lord help me hear

We Will Follow YOU

In the silence of the lonely night
In the fulsome glow of day’s clear light
Through life’s strange windings, dark or bright
We will follow YOU

Strengthened by  You we forward go
Midst smile of scoff or friend or foe
In pleasure of pain or joy or woe
We will follow YOU

So Master point to us the way
Oh suffer not our steps to stray
Reveal the path that leads today
We will follow YOU

With enemies on every side
We lean on You, the crucified
Forsaking all on earth beside
We will follow YOU

You have passed on before our face
Your footsteps on the Way we trace
Oh keep us, aid us by Your grace
We will follow YOU

Who have we in heaven above?
And who on earth save You to love?
Still in Your light we onward move
We will follow YOU

So Master point to us the way
Oh suffer not our steps to stray
Reveal the path that leads today
We will follow YOU

Widows and Orphans

This world will leave you a widow all alone
If you would wander away from the throne
It will leave you an orphan in the street
And you will never be quite complete.

For this hard world forsakes its own
It really don’t care and it makes it known
But the orphan and widow can be restored
There is a husband and Father in the Lord

The widow becomes a part of His bride
‘Neath the shelter of glorious wings you may hide
The orphans are adopted as daughters and sons
There will be a new birth and new life has begun

And all will be reconciled
If you come to him like a child.

Behold what manner of love the Father
Has given unto us
Now we might be called sons and daughters
If we will learn to trust

We gain a heritage and we become heirs
The Father and Bridegroom take us in their  care
For the forsaken woman and the forsaken man
Can have their names written on the palm of His hand

Lift up your Head

When you strike rock bottom
With a sense helplessness,
You may have struck the Rock of Ages.
Underneath your hopelessness

Oh lift up your head
From you knees look up
Take the wine and the bread
The drink in the cup

There on your knees
look up at His feet
On the cross Christ decrees
Death will die in defeat

So I must worship, worship the King
His sovereign majesty rules over everything
And so I will worship may His praise fill the earth!
Lift up your head and declare the savior’s worth

A bruised reed he will not break
Nor quench the ember,  nor forsake
The one who casts himself on grace
Lift up your head and seek His face

So I must worship, worship the King
His sovereign majesty rules over everything
And so I will worship may His praise fill the earth!
Lift up your head and declare the Savior’s worth

All We Like Sheep

We tread out time, we dance in our doubt
We suppress the truth lest it find us out
But the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

All we like sheep have gone astray
We have turned every one to his own way
But the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

He became sin for us
He who knew no sin
For he knows that we are but dust
But this dust he shall defend

And he was cut off on that tree
Alone forsaken for you and for me
That we might become righteousness
Now the substitute scapegoat we confess

By his wounds now we are healed
By His Spirit we are sealed
The suffering servant from above
Laid down his life for us in love

All we like sheep have gone astray
We have turned every one to his own way
But the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

You are the LORD

You are the Lord, you are my King
You are the source of everything
You are the Lord, to You I pray
You’ve given me another day

Lord I will praise you
Lift my heart up to you
Over the heavens
For you are the Lord!

You are the Lord, in You I trust
You formed my body from the dust
You are the Lord, my Righteousness
You have revealed your holiness!

So I will praise you
With my voice raise you up!
Over the heavens
For you are the Lord!

Lord I Would Follow You

Lord help me please, I fall on my knees
Lift up my head so my heart sees…
What I should do, I want to be through
With all these distractions that cloud my view.

Help me to follow through.
Help me depend on You.
Lord I would follow you
Lord I would follow you

I am but dust. Lord help me trust,
Help me repent of what I must.
From henceforth I flee my faith’s poverty
Lord help me find my destiny

Help me to follow through.
Help me depend on You.
Lord I would follow you
Lord I would follow you

From Broken to Beautiful (The Master Healer)

Time and trouble take their toll
On each weary sinsick soul
Beauty breaks and  lustre fades
The moth marauds, the thief invades

Wrecked and ruined, and disgraced
Former glory now a waste
This world will steal what’s good and true
Things fall apart- that’s nothing new.

But the broken can be beautiful again
More glorious that it ever  could have been
Not one reproach is beyond repair
Take it to the Master healer and leave it there

Some things just can’t be healed with time
Our chaos cannot make a perfect rhyme
The missing pieces He’ll replace
The deepest wounds can be healed by grace

For God can take a mind and make it new
He takes a crooked soul and  makes it true
He can resurrect a valley  of dry bones
So He can change a broken heart of stone

Yes, the broken can be beautiful again
More glorious that it ever  could have been
Not one reproach is beyond repair
Take it to the Master healer and leave it there

Do You Know My Jesus?

Jesus is Lord of the Harvest
Jesus is Lord of the Spring
Lord of the hungry and thirsty
Of His mercies we ever shall sing

For the truth is , the Truth is Jesus
He is the Word of God who frees us
Do you know him this way?
Do you trust and obey?
Do you know, do you know my Jesus?

Lord I give everything to you
Live by grace now in all I do
I’ll do just what you want me to
Lord I give everything to you

Bridge
He breaks our bondage and sets us free
To become what we were made to be
In the wisdom of wonder for eternity
The truth shall set us free
The truth shall set us free

As the world turns, I will turn too
When it turns away, Lord I’ll turn to you
When the world turns away
Or stops turning some day
I will go on, go on with you

And the truth is , the Truth is Jesus
He is the Word of God who frees us
Do you know him this way?
Do you trust and obey?
Do you know my Jesus?

Heavenly Peace

Heavenly peace is what I need
Peace that overwhelms my thoughts and deeds
Heavenly peace flows from your grace
And is mine as I rest in your embrace

You took  the wrath
I did the math
I had  nihilo and nada
But you made a path

I was in chains, a prisoner of war
I was Your avowed enemy but you settled the score
This is my destiny, my release
Life’s victory is found in heavenly peace

Declared righteous by your work
You made the great exchange
Now there is no condemnation
No guilt remains!

Heavenly peace is what I need
Peace that overwhelms my thoughts and deeds
Heavenly peace flows from your grace
And is mine as I rest in your embrace

Lovingkind Blood

Your lovingkindness is my confidence
Your lovingkindness forms my sure defense
So in your kindness I will rest
And seek to bless as I am blessed

Your lovingkindness flows over me
It heals my blindness and makes me see.
Unto repentance your kindness shall lead
Your lovingkind blood I will plead
Your lovingkindness Lord is what I need

Bridge
The kindness of my Father changes everything
It is the ground I stand on and the song I sing
It fills the earth with glory and softens the hard heart
It has become my portion and my part

Your lovingkindness flows over me
It heals my blindness and makes me see.
Unto repentance your kindness shall lead
Your lovingkind blood I will plead
Your lovingkindness Lord is what I need

Enter In (Song of Consecration)

Only You can make me holy
You the source, the One and only
Perfect provider, help me stand
For you provide what you command

Here on my knees, here on my face
I enter in and receive grace
Set me apart- Lord change my fate
Open my heart and consecrate
Me only to you
Holy to you

I will stand and enter in
Placed in Your Son, you cast out my sin
So I am holy in your eyes
I hope to never compromise

Here on my knees, here on my face
I enter in and receive grace
Set me apart- Lord change my fate
Open my heart and consecrate
Me only to you
Holy to you
Holy to You , Lord.
Holy to You

Wrap it Up

When this old world wraps up, what will you do?
What will you do with Jesus when this life is through?

The day is dawning,
You know its coming
So what will you do with Jesus, Lord of Glory?
He’s coming to you
What will you do with Jesus- will you serve him
Before this life is through?

He’s all we have
When this old world is wrapping up
He’s all we have
So eat from His table, drink from His cup

When this old world wraps up, what will you do?
What will you do with Jesus when this life is through?

Raise a Remnant

We need green growth in this wormwood
A resurgence of the flame
Lord we need more than revival
Resurrection is our aim
For the bones of former glories
Have descended to the dust
Our sepulchres are whitened
And our swords are red with rust

Chorus
To see the glory of the Lord arise
Putting the old man to shame
Bring the sacrifice to the altar
And see it consumed by your flame

Where is new life from this cesspool?
And new passion to spark the fire?
From the culture’s conflagration
Birth a holy new desire!
Lord in this generation
Raise a remnant filled with power
Who will call upon the nations
To repent in this dark hour

Bridge
For the smoke is on the water
And the workmen wear their wage
But our Lord is at the rudder
As we navigate this age

Chorus
To see the glory of the Lord arise
Putting the old man to shame
Bring the sacrifice to the altar
And see it consumed by your flame

I Will Lay My Body Down

God of all my consolations
In you perfect peace is found
I will take my rest
Lay my head on your breast
I will lay my body down

God of satisfying solace
As I abide I will abound
When nightfall takes its toll
My heart you console
As I lay my body down

God who is my fortress refuge
To my dwelling-place I’m bound
I am safe from harm
In everlasting arms
Where I’ve laid my body down

God of all my heavenly comfort
When I’m laid into the ground
Even then I’m blessed
Entered into rest
When they lay my body down

The eternal God is your dwelling place,
and underneath are the everlasting arms.” (Deuteronomy 33:27)
