Lord Give a Song

Lord Give a song that sings the Truth 
For Truth is what I need
Lies only bring their bondage
But the truth will set me free

For truth is the source of what can be believed 
The foundation greater than can be conceived

On the rock of your Truth we live what is True

We know Truth is the way and the Truth is You

Lord give a song that sings of peace

For peace is what I need 

Peace flows from the grace that gives us faith

So Lord help me to believe

Now Peace is established in promises kept

God keeps in a bottle all the tears we’ve wept

Redemptive remembrances securely  stored 

Kindly kept by the keeper who keeps his word.

Lord give a song that joy brings

Lord give a song that takes on wings

And soars ever upward to You.

Lord give a song that sings of Love

For Love is what I need

Sung in the Spirit sent from above

A love made of Word and Deed

Love is the source of the greatest song of all

For Your love songs will break down each hateful wall

And the great gates of Hell shall never prevail

O’er the Love that split apart the temple veil.

Lord give a song that sings

Lord give the song that joy brings

Lord give a song that takes on wings

And soars ever upward to You.
