It flutters over its young, spreading out its wings,
Catching them, bearing them, on its pinions they arise
No other God is WITH us For the LORD alone guides.
We are lifted up, lifted up we arise
We are lifted up into the sonlit skies
And as we soar on high the things of earth will fade
Oe’r mountain tops, upon the heights we’re stayed
My mighty tower and strong defense-He guards his children’s souls
He is our only confidence- When this world takes its toll
Ever present help- cause our faith to rise and grow
Draw us up beyond the storm that shakes the earth below
