Jesus in You We Trust

Stricken by God and put to death

The Son then drew His final breath-But this is not the end

Now condemnation will not lie

Upon the souls for which he died-On this we can depend

The debt of sin was then erased

By one who died there in our place-The penalty he paid

The Savior who has bled and died

Was raised again though crucified-Atonement there was made

Jesus, in You we Trust to make us whole

Jesus, you redeemed us and saved our souls

And as the seed our God has sown

From it the living vine has grown-And we are grafted in

When He was raised new life began

New creation attains for man-He put to death our Sin

Now we are clothed in righteousness

And in repentance we confess-And so we are made clean

Now we may walk His brightened path

We are no longer under wrath-Since we have been redeemed

Jesus, in You we Trust to make us whole

Jesus, you redeemed us and saved our souls

The hope of Glory is in Christ

For we believe his sacrifice-Once and for all attains

For He was made Sin for us

That we might become righteousness-His loss has been our gain.

His blood, His covenant, His word

My soul now protects and girds-His people in His keep

His blood has covered all our Sin

This mystery we have entered in- Deep calling unto deep

Jesus, in You we Trust to make us whole

Jesus, you redeemed us and saved our souls

He ever lives to intercede

In Christ we are set free indeed-To love as we obey

He sends His Spirit now to us

To author faith and make us trust-And show to us the Way

So in our God we rest in Peace

And revel in our Great High Priest-We live in liberty

Our faith and hope and confidence

He is our glorious recompense-In Christ we are set free

Jesus, in You we Trust to make us whole

Jesus, you redeemed us and saved our souls
