Christ, our Soul’s Shelter

Christ is sanctuary

For the oppressed

The weak and the weary

In him find rest

With his saints we dwell

'Neath his sheltering wings

For there all is well

Hid in him the soul sings

We shall take refuge In Christ, our soul's Shelter

Safe in life’s deluge In Christ, our soul’s  Shelter

Christ is our protection

Tho we are bereft

 He is our connection

To The rock that is cleft

The Abode we abide in

Our sheltering place

The refuge we hide in

Is the God of all grace

We shall take refuge In Christ, our soul's Shelter

Safe in life’s deluge In Christ, our soul’s  Shelter

Our soul's shelter is Christ

Our board and our bield

He has more than sufficed

As our shelter and shield

And so we will enter

The fortress of love

Where Christ is the center

And Christ is e'er enough

We shall take refuge In Christ, our soul's Shelter

Safe in life’s deluge In Christ, our soul’s  Shelter
