River of Love

There’s a place where grace flows freely

It streams down from above

And faith presses toward that current

Surging in the river of love

The force of it will move us out

From the place  we’re fondest of

To risk it all and embrace

The raging river of love

So for those who have a hunger 

And a holy appetite

You only can be satisfied 

When you yield to the river’s might

The river it is restless

And it’s course runs deep and wide

It propels us to lonely places

Where the least of these abide

So push into the current

Where God’s grace freely flows

For love’s a raging river

Only God knows where it goes
