The Impossible Thing

We  can do nothing without our King

With man inability reigns

But our Lord will do the impossible thing

And turn all our failures to gains

For He surely works all things together

For our good- He will meet all our needs

And He is sure to get the glory

As we proclaim His glorious deeds 

For God will provide for what He requires

Whether in the dark depths or in the fires

And He gives the power to run every race

For our limitations are no limit to grace

When you see the Spirit at work in you

And you know that you know that you know

That what is accomplished has nothing to do

With what your dust driven nature could show

It can’t be denied that your efforts were blessed

The results more than you could afford

When power is perfected in your weakness

Be assured that it is of the Lord

For God will provide for what He requires

Whether in the dark depths or in the fires

And He gives the power to run every race
