Grace and Mercy, Peace and Love

The grace of God is so much more

Than any mere sufficiency

It is effulgently outpoured

On all his children, full and free

God’s mercy reigns, ‘tis ever new

Availing to meet our great need

It comes in time just when it’s due

So for God’s mercy we will plead

The peace of God will quiet our hearts

It goes beyond our own pursuit

Beyond our knowing, it imparts

The precious gift of righteous fruit.

The love of God is surely shown

When His own Son He did not spare

Greater than any love that’s known

There is none other that compares.

Grace and mercy, peace and love

Rolled down and revealed like a scroll

Extend to earth from heaven above

To dwell within our very souls
