Jesus is my anthem, and Jesus is my plea
Jesus is the Savior and the Lord of me
Here in the wilderness the giants are huge
Stand firm when the rock becomes your refuge
For Jesus is a shelter and Jesus is the way
A fortress and a tower where we can stay
He’s with us when we suit up for the battle zone
He upholds and goes before us and we’re never alone.
Bridge
So on the rock I’ll build my house and it will stand
Though other shelters fail me in this weary land
Press on through the fire here within His keep
For he is the victor in the heights or in the deep
There is purpose in the pleasures and purpose in the pains
At the end of the day it’s the Word that remains
Be grateful for a shelter from danger’s deluge
Stand firm when the rock becomes your refuge
Jesus is my anthem, and Jesus is my plea
Jesus is the Savior and the Lord of me
Here in the wilderness the giants are huge
Stand firm when the rock becomes your refuge
Stand firm when the rock becomes your refuge
Stand firm when the rock becomes your refuge
