I’ve Got a Reason to Sing

I will sing praises to You all day long

I will lift up my voice and sing a new song

When the song is written as worship to You

I will hope and pray others sing along too

I’ve got a reason to sing-

I’ve got a reason to sing-

My God will inhabit the praises I bring

I’ve got a reason, I’ve got a reason to sing!

Power is perfected even in joyful noise

For our God finds pleasure in each song He enjoys

Our praise will bring blessings beyond earthly wealth

For each voice that’s raised up, God gives us Himself

I’ve got a reason to sing-

My God will inhabit the praises I bring

I’ve got a reason, I’ve got a reason to sing!

So I will sing melodies to my Lord in my heart

Then Psalms hymns and spiritual songs will all start 

As I sing in the Spirit and sing with my mind

For singing is that for which we were designed

I’ve got a reason to sing-
