I Am Not Ashamed

The Gospel is salvation to all who will believe

For new life is eternal once it is received

For the redeemed are reconciled, faultless, without blame

And even if I suffer,  I am not ashamed…

Unapologetic, without compromise

Unafraid to look the lost and raging in the eyes

Unable to keep my peace, the word must be proclaimed

For it is the power of God and I am not ashamed

The cross must be offensive for it is soaked with blood

The flesh of God was cut off in a judgment like the flood

The lifeblood of the Son of God and grace has been outpoured

For the cleansing and forgiveness of the chosen of the Lord

Unapologetic, without compromise

Unafraid to look the lost and raging in the eyes

Unable to keep my peace, the word must be proclaimed

For it is the power of God and I am not ashamed

This Gospel is the power of God for salvation

For people from every tribe and nation

So we go into the world to see this Word proclaimed

For my Savior died and rose for me and I am not ashamed
