Satisfied (Taste, Taste and See)

Christ the Lord is my delight
He fulfills my hearts desires (Psalm 37:4)
All my wrongs He will put right
He supplies all that life requires

As a deer pants for flowing streams,
Oh, pants my soul for you
The desert waste, your grace redeems
You are faithful, You are True.

For the living God my soul thirsts (Psalm 42:1–2).
For you my weak flesh faints
A dry and weary land's immersed (Psalm 63:1).
To satisfy your saints.

Taste, taste and see that the Lord is good
In Him my soul shall hide
Jesus is my satisfaction
So my soul is satisfied.

We drink our fill of the abundance
On Your house we set our sights
My parched soul finds deliverance
As I drink of the river of Your delights (Psalm 36:8 NASB).

In the Lords goodness our spirits find
Our worship's sure foundation
With exceeding joy we'll taste and see
Your goodness and salvation (Psalm 34:8) (Psalm 119:103).

Our satisfaction overflows
Sourced by unending treasures
In His presence joy forever grows
His right hand holds eternal pleasures (Psalm 16:11).

Taste, taste and see that the Lord is good
In Him my soul shall hide
Jesus is my satisfaction
So my soul is satisfied.
