Christ is Exalted

 

For the joy that was set before Him

Christ endured the cross despising the shame

For the joy that was set before Him

He now has the name above all names

He is exalted, our King is exalted

Exalted to God’s right hand.

There He sits at the throne of Grace

According to the Triune plan

So look to Jesus, Look to Jesus

Set your eyes upon the coming King

Look to Jesus, look to Jesus

The author of our faith, of Thee we sing!

The faith of the born again who believe

Jesus is the author and the founder

By grace he began the faith we receive

And is the faithful finisher and perfector

To the assembly of the Redeemed, 

The chosen ones the Father gave

From grace’s throne mercy has streamed

For His people Christ has saved.

So look to Jesus, Look to Jesus
