I’m just another sinner
Saved by a glorious grace
God made this loser a winner
Down here in this time in this place
I was a thief and a scoffer
Stealing credit where credit was due
I had rejected God‘s offer
To trade my delusion for what it is true
But God reached down and grabbed me
Then he drew me close to his side
Then with conviction, he stabbed me
And then decimated my pride
In that moment, I truly came to see
That I was more than God’s enemy
Though I was a sinner, he died for me
And now the truth has set me free
My delusions were driven away
When Jesus came to me face-to-face
My illusions are now gone to stay
I was devastated by Grace
He reckons me righteous
He declares me just
In my total inability
In Christ, I have come to trust
Its something other worldly
Supernatural it’s true
In Christ God reckons me righteous
And this old man he has made new
