Make the Devil Flee

The devil is a roaring lion

Seeking to devour

He’s hungry for another soul

To come under his power

The devil rules o’er this world

He lies and he deceives

But he has no dominion

Over the soul that believes

So submit to God-Submit to God 

Submit to His sovereignty

So submit to God-Submit to God 

And make the devil flee

We are the resistance

To Satan’s heinous rule

His influence is powerful

He overtakes the fool

He may still be prince of this world

And the power of the air

But Jesus won the victory

And we are in his care

So submit to God-Submit to God 

Submit to His sovereignty

So submit to God-Submit to God 

And make the devil flee

Our power is in submission

To the Captain of our souls

Free from Satan’s dominion

We are in our Lord’s control

And so we wear God’s armor

So our hearts stand strong and bold

Then the weapons of our warfare

Will destroy all strongholds

So submit to God-Submit to God 

Submit to His sovereignty

So submit to God-Submit to God 

And make the devil flee
