Come Heal us Jesus

Our bodies are broken and battered and weak

There is a physician after whom we seek

Without His healing, our prospects are bleak

Come heal us Jesus we pray

Emotional trauma shall not be ignored

The broken, despairing can now be restored

For Mercy and Grace are forever out poured

Come, heal us Jesus we pray

Our hearts are racked with a spiritual pain

And all of our efforts to heal are in vain

By your wounds, we are healed your Word makes it plain

Come heal us Jesus we pray

Bridge

Heal me, oh Lord and I will be healed.

Save me and I will be saved!

In you all the healing souls need is revealed

So you are the one that I praise.

Gentle and lowly the Healer is here

Restoring emotions and casting out fear

With power and compassion He’s drawing us near

Come, heal us Jesus we pray

In your new creation, or when we have died

No morning or crying shall ever abide

For death found its death in the One crucified

So come heal us Jesus we pray

For the ultimate healing, we pray

Come, heal us Jesus today
