Daughters and Sons

Lord we pray for our daughter We pray for our sons

We pray for those future godly ones

We trust you will give godly friends

To help them to a better journey’s end

And we pray by Your will it will be done

Lord sanctify their souls we pray

So that they wait on you until that day

You reveal the one you chose for them

To become more than a friend

And as they wait to follow your way

So young ones wherever you are

We are praying this prayer for your souls

That you will consecrate yourself

And you will understand the Lord is in control

Now nobody is perfect but the Lord

And to live without him you can’t afford

So put
away your own way and you’ll acquire

What you need for God gives that which he requires.
