Journey’s End

If there’s a burning in my bosom

Oh Jesus be that fire

I’m a pilgrim in a pursuit

To fulfill my Great Desire

For to be with You then holiness

Is what I must pursue

And if I travel hard I’m blessed

For my final goal is You.

You are the pearl of greatest price

You are the Living Christ

You are the Truth , the Life, the Way

You are the Light for Whom I pray

You are the first cause, the journey’s end

Lover of souls and the faithful friend

You are my Jesus- I want to be with you

With you the forever faithful, forever true

If I pursue your presence each day

I won’t have to wait for angels to take me away

I have you here inside me, You continue to conceive

The blessing of not seeing yet, and yet to believe
