Wisdom and Wonder

The devil’s delusions 

Will surely destroy

And create confusion

When they are deployed.

But truth testifies to God’s reality

And those who are wise Will indeed be set free

For truth has its ways

To bring facts to light

To direct our gaze

Onto things that are right

The devil’s a liar-His lies devastate

For Hell is afire With evil and hate

Wisdom and wonder Tear delusions asunder

As we ponder the plunder of  Sin

Wisdom and wonder Like lightning and thunder

We’re struck by it when it descends

The day it has come

When wrong is thought right

And right is undone

To the devil’s delight

So come to the true light That makes darkness flee

And gives the blind sight So they come to see

Now wise men will flourish

Who heed what is true

For God’s truth will nourish

The souls of those few

Who believe and cherish That reality

But others will perish For eternity.

Wisdom and wonder Tear delusions asunder
