The Battle is the Lord’s

The battle is the Lord’s

And He must have the victory

I surrender to the victor

The King of all glory

He has overcome

The world and all my sin

It is over and it’s done

So the war is mine to win

So I surrender to the Captain

Who is a warrior King

The Battle is The Lord’s

Of His victory we sing!

We war not with mere flesh and blood

But against principalities, 

Against powers,  and dominions

And rulers of the darkness we cannot see

We war against spiritual forces 

Of evil in the heavenly places

And victory is surely ours

As we lift our voice in praises!

The enemy has seen defeat

Death and darkness now have died

His purpose is complete

And He won’t be denied

The battle is the Lord’s

Good News

There is good news, good news for the sinner

Whether you are a loser or you think You’re a winner

All of us need Him and need His provision

If you search under heaven, there is no vision

Friend, There is Good News

That overcomes Bad News

No man who can pay his dues

But the one Man Jesus Christ.

Yes there is Good News

If your life you would lose

To gain life eternal

In the One Man Jesus Christ.

I had there deep inside of me a principle of sin

I put forth a false image of what was true within

I knew no good resided there but I hid my disease

Until God opened up my eyes to the truth that frees.

Friend, There is Good News

That overcomes Bad News

But the one Man Jesus Christ.

If your life you would lose

In the Savior Jesus Christ.

If you confess Him as Lord

Repent and be saved

Friend you cannot afford

To cling to the grave

There But For the Grace of God

There is none righteous there is none holy

There is none who seeks for God solely

We are born sinners lost in transgression

All our iniquities call us to confession

I see it everywhere I go, folks lost in fantasy

Pursuing ease and comfort and thinking they are free

While all the time they’re dead in sin with no hope in sight

Pleased to wander in the dark and running from the light

There but for the grace of God go I

Nobody’s perfect, we all need a Savior

We all feel sin’s effect, in need of God’s favor

Made in God’s image, that image is broken

May Christ be Magnified

In  Christ we live and move and have our being

In Christ we give to prove the  faith the world is seeing

Lord, may we by our living

May we by our moving

May we by our being

See Christ be magnified

In Christ we have a more sure hope than the world can give

In Christ we have the means to cope and the means to live

So may we by our hoping

May we by our giving

Even by our coping

See Christ be Magnified.

We want to see you maginified in  our lives Lord, 

We want to show you as the worthy one to be adored

We want the world to see the grace of God can’t be ignored

So we will live our lives

We will give our lives

As a living sacrifice of praise outpoured

In Christ we have abundant life, a gift for us to live

In Christ we have unending love, that we must learn to give

So even in our giving, 

May we in our loving

May we in our living

May Christ be magnified

Circumcise Our Hearts

Circumcise our hearts that we might love you

As in the resurrection of your Son we rest

In our hearts may no thing reign above You

Lord, lead us in the paths of righteousness.
