Blood Bought Grace

God will equip you with every good thing
That you may do his will, and do right
He works in us that which is pleasing
What is pleasing in his sight

By blood bought Grace
It is worked in us
By blood bought Grace
In God we trust.

Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
For it is God who works in you,
Both to will and to work for His good pleasure
Know it is God who works in you...

Bridge
Glory be to Jesus forever and ever.
Forever and ever. Amen!
Glory be to Jesus forever and ever.
Forever and ever. Amen!

By blood bought Grace
It is worked in us
By blood bought Grace
In God we trust.

By blood bought Grace
It is worked in us
By blood bought Grace
In God we trust.

Resurrection Hope

It was foretold in ages past of how the dead shall live
How those who sleep deep in earth-dust shall wake
Some will rise to life eternal, Some to endless shame (Daniel 12:2, Acts 24:15, John 5:29)
And eternal torment in a fiery lake.

So our dead shall live, their bodies rise -All those who dwell in dust
Awake and sing, yea, sing for joy (Isaiah 26:19) For in this blessed hope we trust
God will ransom us from Sheol- Draw our souls out from the grave (Psalm 49:10)
Christ will revive us from the depths, (Psalm 71:20) By resurrection power raised.

For then the tomb becomes a womb
And to life anew gives birth
We'll be transformed and be reborn
Christ will raise the sons of earth

Like seeds sown in a garden Like a simple grain of wheat
That falls into the prepared earth Our fruit will much increase
Like dry bones in the desert Barren spirits will be raised
And all the relics of the fall Shall bend their knees in praise.

The Lord will keep his promises Beyond this earthly death
We shall see their fulfillment With resurrection breath.
The perishable shall put on imperishable clothes,
Garments of praise, our raiment- Covered by the one who rose.

Bridge
We proclaim the blessed hope of our Lord's return
We proclaim that He shall raise the dead
We proclaim that death will know its final defeat
Vanquished by the power of our living head.

For when the tomb becomes a womb
And to life anew gives birth
We'll be transformed and be reborn
Christ will raise the sons of earth!

We'll be transformed and be reborn
Christ will raise the sons of earth!
We'll be transformed and be reborn
Christ will raise the sons of earth!

Doxology (Treasure the Glory)

Doxology (Treasure the Glory)

Lord make me to know your glory,
For my ultimate hope is to see
Here in your gospel the riches it holds
May your glory be revealed to me

So I will rejoice in partaking
In apprehending by grace
The hidden wisdom`s imparted
And into this vessel it`s placed

For you will present us blameless
Before your glorious throne
Where your kavod and your doxa
In majesty will be made known

Treasure the glory, the glory of God
In and above all things
Treasure the worth of the pearl of great price
And forsake all the glories to which the world clings

Now in the face of Christ Jesus
The radiance of glory appears
We long to defer to its eternal weight
O`erwhelmed by magnificent fear!

And so we have hope through the gospel
That in Gods glory we will soon share
For now we will study and seek it
As a treasure thats beyond compare

until other glories that seduce men
All the worlds glories that would compete
With the infinite treasure of Jesus
Fall in pitiful pieces at His feet

Treasure the glory, the glory of God
In and above all things
Treasure the worth of the pearl of great price
And forsake all the glories to which the world clings

Another Blessed Christmas (With You)

Another year has come and gone
And life has waxed and waned
And every step we’re side by side
Through all we’ve lost and gained.

But Christmas brings back memories
Of  days we’ve celebrated
For we got here together
These are the days for which we waited

We didn’t make the journey all alone
We had a strong companion for we are not our own.
And with the Lord we travelled and with the Lord we’ll  stay
Partakers of the promise that will see us through each day.

This Christmas is a sweet one
As others were before,
Because you’re here beside me
The one that I adore,

And as we face tomorrow
Our hope is ever true
Through happiness and sorrow
There’s Jesus and there’s you!

We will not run our race or rest alone
We have a strong companion, for we are not our own.
And with the Lord we travel on and with the Lord we’ll  stay
Partakers of the promise that will see us through each day!

Love Christmas 2018

We Need a Savior (For the Desperate Ones)

If you’re weary and heavy-burdened
A-weighed down by your fears
Oppressed by the guilt of your failures
And blinded by your own tears

There is hope and forgiveness in Jesus
There is restoration and grace
There is reconciliation and pardon
And satisfaction no sin can replace

We are beggars in need of a Savior
We share in this ultimate need
Forgiveness and true restoration
If we come to his table to feed.
In your desperate situation
No matter the past or the cost
There is Hope to be found in the Savior
Not one of His own will be lost.

If you’re disgraced and disappointed
And forlorn in the fallout, you weep
When you’ve sown to the winds of destruction
And you’re tossed in the whirlwind you reap

Now Jesus can keep you from falling
Though you’re hung at the end of your rope
For Jesus restores and renews us
He gives peace and power and hope.

We are sinners in need of a Savior
We share in this ultimate need
Forgiveness and true restoration
If we come to his table to feed.
In your desperate situation
No matter the past or the cost
There is Hope to be found in the Savior
Not one of His own will be lost.

Three Gifts

Three gifts our Savior gives to us
To all those who believe
He gives them freely by His grace
Three gifts we must receive

He gives to us  a purpose
He gives to us a plan
To believe in Him and love others
Is his first His gift and His command

He gives to us a blessed Hope
That He will forgive our sins
And all our failures start to fade
As we overcome in Him!

He gives to us an advocate
A helper to guide our ways
To help us overcome our sin
He lives in us today!

Three gifts our Jesus gives us
From His all- surpassing wealth
A Purpose and Forgiveness
But the best gift Is Himself!

Three gifts our Savior gives to us
To all those who believe
He gives them freely by His grace
Three gifts we must receive!

Rend Our Veils

In every fairy tale ever written,  every thrilling mystery
Every science fiction work- every alternate reality
Take every myth and legend, Read and you will never find
Things so shocking and so strange, as to boggle the mortal mind
Nothing so weird and wonderful as the soul-shaking, spellbinding story,
Of the incarnation of the Son of God in all His maJestic glory

We would feel the awe, feel the fear,  the marvel of Gods Son
Experience the astonishment,  and exult in all He has done
Oh that we might be stunned and awakened to wonder
Tear down our walls, rend our veils all asunder
Break on us like a tidal wave sublime!
Show us the glory you had from all time!

Oh Lord, by the word of Your power  You uphold the universe
Now minute by minute, hour by hour You can remove this blinding curse
Holy Spirit,  break into our worship in a terrible, frightening way,
to wake us up to the unimaginable  Reality of our God today!

Bridge
Being the very image of Gods person,
Begotten by the Father from all eternity,
Through whom all things were created,
Reflecting and radiating all of Gods glory

We would feel the awe, feel the fear,  the marvel of Gods Son
Experience the astonishment,  and exult in all He has done
Oh that we might be stunned and awakened to wonder
Tear down our walls, rend our veils all asunder
Break on us like a tidal wave sublime!
Show us the glory you had from all time!

One day lightning will fill the sky from the rising to the setting sun,
One day the Breaker King will return and then all time will be done
For there is going to appear in the clouds  our Sovereign Savior-Sire
The Son of Man in Glory with his mighty angels in flaming fire.

Whether from terror or sheer excitement,  we will tremble and wonder how
We lived so long with such a safe and harmless Christ as we are undone and we bow.

The Indescribable Gift

It may  at times be more blessed
To give than to receive
But there is one gift above the rest
Which no one but God can give

A gift that’s indescribable
Given to Gods enemies
We can see it in the Bible
But only the chosen sees.

Tis a gift  to be reconciled
With the God of heaven above
It comes to us in this holy child
It comes to us in love

But first you must receive it
And unwrap this gift of grace
You only have to believe it
Then you’ll rest in His embrace

Indescribable gift of salvation
Given to all that believe
Indescribable gift of salvation
The gift one can only receive

The gift was purchased for men
By The blood of the One who died
So that we are finally freed from sin
And declared justified!

The Son was sent to save us
From Satanic works and lies
So this sacrifice He gave us
The atonement His blood buys

The most expensive gift of all
As a gift you must receive
And though we falter and we fall
His grace still intercedes.

To live with God and placed in Christ
Because His blood atoned
Freed from wrath by His sacrifice
By grace through faith alone

Indescribable gift of salvation
Given to all that believe
Indescribable gift of salvation
The gift one can only receive

Advent (Why Christ Came)

Christ came to ransom many
From the market of slavery
The slaves of sin are purchased
He came to set them free

He came to call us sinners
To repent and to believe
The dead in sin he raised to live
Our sickness to relieve

He came as light into the world
To open up blind eyes
To deliver them from darkness
Bound up by Satan’s lies

He came into this wicked world
The devils works to destroy
He came to crush the serpent’s skull
And fill our hearts with joy

He came to divide households
To set apart His own
To divide darkness from the light
For the truth they now have known.

He came to  us to save us
From wrath  and condemnation
Now God is for us once for all
We  receive His salvation!

He saves to life eternal
He saves from death and sin
He saves us for His glory
So our great good begins!

Accolades

Lift up His majestic name
You burning ones that He commands
Amid the accolades of the righteous
Now glorious He stands

Praise and honor To our Lord
Hosannas and acclaim
Adulation and renown
Belong to His great name

Glory glory hallelujah
His greatness we proclaim
Declaring righteousness and hope
We confess His glorious name

Esteem and celebrate the worth
Of our beloved King
We venerate His mighty deeds
And of His works we sing.

Lift up your heads , lift up your voice
Open wide you holy gates
Hosannahs ring as we rejoice
And offer up our accolades

Glory glory hallelujah
His greatness we proclaim
Declaring righteousness and hope
We confess His glorious name

My Heart is A-Homing for Heaven

If you feel restless and longing for home
A place where you always belong
We are destined in the depths of our soul
For a final homecoming e're long

All other homecomings are foretastes
"We meet to part and part to meet"
All other homecomings are fleeting
But our final homecoming`s complete.

My heart is a-homing for heaven
The place where my weary soul hides
For Jesus is my destination
In Him I`ll forever abide.

So with longing we face toward the future
To safety, belonging and love
We were created for another world
Designed for a secure home above

For every loss and every delight
Every promise in Jesus is stored
Though I live move and be in Him here
They are Yes and Amen in my Lord

My heart is a-homing for heaven
The place where my weary soul hides
For Jesus is my habitation
In Him I`ll forever abide.
