Sweet Salvation

The Lord on high proclaims
His Godhead from his throne:
"Mercy and justice are the names
By which I will be known.”
Faith in his name forbids my fear;
O may thy presence ne'er depart!
And in the morning draw me near
The lovingkindness of thy heart.

Sweet, sweet salvation,
His name proclaims sweet salvation
His mercy says “no condemnation”
His name proclaims sweet salvation.

My flesh shall rest beneath the ground,
When the dark night of death shall come,
My hope, my righteousness is found
In Jesus Christ my Lord, alone.
My God in safety makes me dwell
Beneath the shadow of his wings.
There I’ll wait for your voice to rouse my tomb,
Of sweet salvation glory sings!

Sweet, sweet salvation,
His name proclaims sweet salvation
His grace declares “no condemnation”
His name proclaims sweet salvation.
Sweet, sweet salvation,
His name proclaims sweet salvation
His mercy cries “no condemnation”
His name proclaims sweet salvation.

The Day of Grace

 Now is the time to serve the Lord,
The time to insure the great reward;
And while the lamp holds out to burn,
The vilest sinner may return.

Now is the hour that God has given
To escape from hell and fly to heav'n;
The day of grace, and mortals may
Secure the blessings of the day.

This, this, this is the day of grace
This, this, this is the time and place.
Time to approach the glorious throne
To rest in the presence of the living stone
This, this, this is the day of grace.

The living know that they must die,
But all the dead forgotten lie;
Their memory and their sense is gone,
Alike unknowing and unknown.

Then what my thoughts design to do,
My hands, with all your might pursue;
Since no device nor work is found,
Nor faith, nor hope, beneath the ground.

Bridge:This is the day of grace today
His presence  is your hideaway
He’ll ne’er forsake, this is His pledge
Don’t live beneath your privilege

This, this, this is the day of grace
This, this, this is the time and place.
Time to approach the glorious throne
To rest in the presence of the living stone
This, this, this is the day of grace.

Life the day of grace and hope. Eccl. 9:4-6,10.

Stand Firm

Stand firm against the assault of the world
Stand firm when the accusers arrows are hurled
Put on the Truth and the righteous breastplate
Stand firm in the presence of glorious grace

When the sands of the culture are shifting, stand firm
When you’re swayed by the burden you’re lifting, Stand firm
When  Life goes astray from the ways that you planned
When the oceans of doubt encompass the land
When you’re sure that you’ll fail under all the demands Stand firm

This is a Rock that is secure
This is the solid Rock that endures
This is a Rock where your can plant your feet
Where your footsteps are firm and you’ll never retreat
With your roots in the rock you can always be sure… stand firm!

A Rock of Refuge in the deluge
That offends the worldly-wise
An everlasting solid place
Where there’s no compromise

When the people on which you depend bail, stand firm
When the strategies constructed by men fail, stand firm
For there is a Rock that is higher than you
A  sure place to stand that is steadfast and true
Here you will persist in all that you do, stand firm.
Stand firm, stand firm, stand firm, stand firm
