Nowhere To Go

Jesus,  our Lord and our King

We are your ransomed redeemed

We have come to worship, to lift your Name on high

We’ll live this might privilege – Your light to magnify

To our Father we are reconciled

Each one now your beloved child

Now we live in the light of your truth and your love

Till our faith is made sight and dwell with you above

There is nowhere else where we can go

No one else has the life giving Word

So on this pilgrimage here below

We will stand on the truth that we’ve heard

Oh Spirit cause us to repent

From the Father and Son you are sent

Now you dwell within us, so true wisdom impart

Compel and constrain us, write the Word on our hearts

So in God’s promise we trust

We are  sinners that are declared just

We have come to praise you, Your name to glorify

We proclaim  to the nations that your redemption draws nigh

Rest and Rejoice

Though we may be heavy laden

Walking this world-weary way

Jesus will be our safe haven

Come to rest in Him  today

Though we may walk through the valley

We never walk it alone

Even at time’s last finale

We’ll stand before His Holy throne

Oh rest and rejoice in the Savior

Hid neath His sheltering wing

Revel in God’s Holy favor

Of  His salvation we sing.

All you battle weary warriors

In this wild wilderness war

Jesus will be your strong armor

Your perfect peace He’ll restore

The Savior who saved you will keep you

He who has died in your place

Will not forsake you or leave you

You’ll persevere by His grace

Oh rest and rejoice in the Savior

In That Day

The Reckoning

Soon the day will come, that day for which we long

The soon and coming return of our King

Bringing judgment against all that’s wrong

But to His own, great blessing He will bring

When that day  of reckoning comes upon us

We shall know that Sin no longer holds its sway

When He comes, He fulfills all our trust

And His name shall be hallowed in that day

In that day there’ll be no more sorrow

In that day there’ll be no more pain

Soon that day will come- maybe tomorrow

When we’ll see all of our losses become gain

Then faith and hope will surely pass away

But holy  love will surely remain

For faith becomes sight  in that day

In that day we’ll join the celebration

Angel songs give way to songs of the redeemed

Ransomed souls raise their voice in jubilation

And this new reality is more than we dreamed

In that day there’ll be no more sorrow

In that day there’ll be no more pain

Soon that day will come- maybe tomorrow

When we’ll see all of our losses become gain

Then faith and hope will surely pass away

All Things New

New creation in Christ is done

We are being conformed to the Son

He lives in us  so we are One

God is making all things new

The good the beautiful and true

Are ever fresh like morning dew

All He promised,  He will do 

God is making all things new

New minds, new hearts, new life He imparts

God is making all things new.

Gone to prepare a place

A world inhabited by grace

Transformed we’ll see him face to face

Jesus in You We Trust

Stricken by God and put to death

The Son then drew His final breath-But this is not the end

Now condemnation will not lie

Upon the souls for which he died-On this we can depend

The debt of sin was then erased

By one who died there in our place-The penalty he paid

The Savior who has bled and died

Was raised again though crucified-Atonement there was made

Jesus, in You we Trust to make us whole

Jesus, you redeemed us and saved our souls

And as the seed our God has sown

From it the living vine has grown-And we are grafted in

When He was raised new life began

New creation attains for man-He put to death our Sin

Now we are clothed in righteousness

And in repentance we confess-And so we are made clean

Now we may walk His brightened path

We are no longer under wrath-Since we have been redeemed

Jesus, in You we Trust to make us whole

Jesus, you redeemed us and saved our souls

The hope of Glory is in Christ

For we believe his sacrifice-Once and for all attains

For He was made Sin for us

That we might become righteousness-His loss has been our gain.

His blood, His covenant, His word

My soul now protects and girds-His people in His keep

His blood has covered all our Sin

This mystery we have entered in- Deep calling unto deep

Jesus, in You we Trust to make us whole

Jesus, you redeemed us and saved our souls

He ever lives to intercede

In Christ we are set free indeed-To love as we obey

He sends His Spirit now to us

To author faith and make us trust-And show to us the Way

So in our God we rest in Peace

And revel in our Great High Priest-We live in liberty

Our faith and hope and confidence

He is our glorious recompense-In Christ we are set free
