Providence

If holiness is my desire

I can expect trials by fire

There will sure come a test

If I would seek righteousness

If I long for holiness

If I hope for blessedness

Sure, the devil will attack

But I must never then turn back

For whatever  my Lord requires

He will provide a way

And each days’s provision

Is sufficient for that day

What I need He will supply

Though I may wonder how or why

He is able to provide

And on my sojourn He will guide

So I will trust in what he gave

For He is able to now to save

Unto the uttermost

In His promise I will boast

Though Satan would disburse distress

I will trust God’s faithfulness

He will perfect what He began

Though I cannot he surely can

For whatever  my Lord requires

He will provide a way

The Light of Christ

The Light of Christ dispels the darkness

As sin’s  deception it reveals

For sin is blacker than we imagine

For its true nature it conceals

The light of Christ shines forth in glory

It pierces through the darkened mind

And all it touches is enlightened

And by its grace truth is defined

Light of the world life dwells within you

Fill us clay vessels with your light

So may your radiance stun our senses

And in this darkness give us true sight

Oh Glorious light come shine upon us

Make us true lights as you’ve declared

Oh Light of Christ help us see clearly

For in your brilliance sin is stripped bare

Oh light of Christ drive out the shadows

Death’s Valleys illumine, set them aglow

Make bright our path we tread to Glory

Do this your glories now to show

Light of the world life dwells within you

Fill us clay vessels with your light

So may your radiance stun our senses

And in this darkness give us true sight

The Prize

There will come a time

When your time is upon you

Suddenly it comes and this story ends

Soon and very soon

Morning night or noon 

It will come dear friends

There will come a night

When the thief comes to take you

Take you to a place that transcends this earth

A Heaven or a Hell

Surely He can tell

What your life is worth

When that time does come

Faith and hope are done

They will be fulfilled

At the end of time

We will surely find

What our life will yield

Was our life in Christ

Or some other sacrifice?

It will be revealed…

There will be an hour that is coming so quickly 

A twinkling of an eye and this life is done

Either when we die

Or upward we will fly

And the prize is won

Ever to abide

Transformed glorified

In the Risen Son

There will be a day we may see a returning 

Coming back to take us to his side

Come to take us home

Never more to roam

His beloved bride

When the day is done

And the race is run

Jesus is the prize.

When that time will come

Faith and hope are done

They will be fulfilled

At the end of time

We will surely find

What our life will yield

Was our life in Christ

Or some other sacrifice?

It will be revealed…

Triune Worship

We are satisfied in the crucified and Risen Jesus

He is our redeemer, for in Him new life begins

We are purified then sanctified by His Holy Spirit

He will teach and guide us and convict us of our sin

We are justified and glorified by God our Father

He is our creator, who we have our being  in

Before the world’s foundation

Until Forever

Forever never ends that is just its way

And never never comes for there’s still another day

The song goes on forever into the great unknown

But I am sure you’ll hold me and I’ll never be alone

In the fiery trial

Something I just can’t explain

Though trouble will come it's my reality

That there’s sunshine after the rain
