Ransomed and Redeemed

You gave your life as a ransom 
A ransom for many, a ransom for me
This is why you came to the world
To seek and save and set us free.

You came that you might serve us
Not to be served by men
In the fullness of time the truth came
Turn away from yourself and your sin

He paid the cost to recover the lost
To willingly serve us he came 
The wide open gates now of heaven await
To the praise of his glorious name

Turn to him like little children
Turn to the redeemer of souls
Trust in the ransom for many
Receive now the gift and be whole.

You redeem our lives from the pit
And satisfy all our desires
So our strength is renewed
You provide all  the Father requires

To the praise of his glorious name

Yes you paid the price of redemption
You bore the weight of our debt
We trust in your sufficient grace now
For all of our needs now are met.

Mercy flows in the living stream
We sing the song of the redeemed
The ransom for many now has made
Atonement -- for its price is paid
