To Follow is to Follow

Righteous and  holy,

Merciful and mighty

You Purchased us out of our sin

We are the slaves of righteousness

Serving our Master as we confess

To follow is to follow again and again.

Help us persevere in worship

Help us persevere in praise

Help us consecrate our lives

All our live-long days.

Give us grace to make this vow

Lord by Your grace our hearts will bow

while we stand

Just as you have planned

Help us understand…

And follow your command.

If you follow your heart

Yopu will surely depart

To your own way

So Lord set us apart

Incline our hearts

To do what you say

This is what we pray…

For we stray away so easily

Our souls pant to be satisfied

But to other lords we incline

Draw us safely to your side

Dispense your showers of grace

Flowing in delight from you

As we abandon our desires

Let us seek your face in all we do
