When We Pray

We will rise out of sorrow when we pray

We will  live in thanksgiving when we pray

Surely goodness and mercy follow all our days

We shall walk in the light when we pray

We’ll agree with the Father when we pray 

We will defeat the devil when we pray

We hope in what we do not see

The Love of Jesus

The love of Jesus will constrain us

Through our most tumultuous test

His love will then sustain us

Through our trials and our stress

Our love for Him may waver

But He holds us ere secure

We shall rest within His favor

In love- beautiful and pure

For we are His and He is ours

Forevermore  to last

He will love in the future

As He’s loved us in the past

He will hold us , ever faithful

For His love’s forever true

What a treasure without measure

Springing forth each day anew

Oh the precious love of Jesus

Spirit help our love return

To the source that holds and frees us

Help us now-  this love to learn

Abiding in His love and grace

King of Glory

When the Lord Jesus from heaven is revealed

With his mighty angels in their flaming fire

A sword of vengeance in His hand he shall wield

For he is both just as well as justifier.

We will see the glory of the sovereign King

Both in mercy and in justice he shall come

He gives mercy to His living offerings

And sure vengeance on those who reject the Son

We will see His glory and be undone at the sight

Lost in  perfect never ending sinless marveling

We ‘ll attain our destiny of joy in His light

The crucified and risen and returning Glorious King

When the Lord Jesus from heaven is revealed

With his mighty angels in their  flaming fire

When the final judgment scroll shall be unsealed

He Himself shall be our great and true desire

We shall marvel in such a way that He will be 

Glorified in His saints for all the world to see…

Oh He will attain his glorious destiny

The King of Glory shall return to claim His victory.

The Lord of Hosts is His name

This One who is from age to age the same!
