King of Glory

When the Lord Jesus from heaven is revealed

With his mighty angels in their flaming fire

A sword of vengeance in His hand he shall wield

For he is both just as well as justifier.

We will see the glory of the sovereign King

Both in mercy and in justice he shall come

He gives mercy to His living offerings

And sure vengeance on those who reject the Son

We will see His glory and be undone at the sight

Lost in  perfect never ending sinless marveling

We ‘ll attain our destiny of joy in His light

The crucified and risen and returning Glorious King

When the Lord Jesus from heaven is revealed

With his mighty angels in their  flaming fire

When the final judgment scroll shall be unsealed

He Himself shall be our great and true desire

Bridge

We shall marvel in such a way that He will be 

Glorified in His saints for all the world to see…

Oh He will attain his glorious destiny

The King of Glory shall return to claim His victory.

Who is this King of Glory?

The Lord of Hosts is His name

Who is this King of Glory?

This One who is from age to age the same!

We will see His glory and be undone at the sight
