By Grace through Faith

Come in from the cold, where love is with pain fraught 

There are deeds to be doled, offerings to be brought 

There’s convictions to hold, holy thoughts to be thought

For it all is by  Grace through Faith

Where doubts are undone  there's a pearl to be bought

Exemption for none and  good works to be wrought

Songs to be sung and men's hearts to be caught

For by grace you have been saved through faith. 

Not your own doing, not at your cost

It is the gift of God, and of nothing you’ve done 

So that no one may boast, not one may boast

There’s good news to be told and tell it we ought

All of our vain efforts fold and will come to naught

For there’s Power to stand bold ‘gainst Sin’s savage onslaught

And it all is by  Grace through Faith

The end has begun and there’s Truth to be taught

There is a race to be run and a fight to be fought.

Victory to be won and lost souls to be sought
