Holy Spirit Take Control

Spirit of God  touch my heart

Sanctify and set me apart

Your gift I have received

You make me to believe

Now every morning brings a brand new start

Spirit of Jesus with you I am sealed

You are the spirit of truth to you I yield

You are my comfort and consolation

My judge ansd my salvation

Renew my mind so I can know what you’ve revealed

Portals of Glory

Right around the corner

Coming to your neighborhood

The rejoicer and the mourner

The evil and the good

All are seeking meaning

All are seeking peace

These fields that they are gleaning

Only tend to decrease

But we are portals of glory 

In unexpected places

Deep and profound stories

Bound up in obscure faces 

We're sinners being transformed

This is more than allegory

The heavy weight is being borne

By these portals of glory

We are the temple

The vessels of light

The profound in the simple

Jars of clay filled with might

Though the world it will hate us

This place of profane territory

They’ll and besmirch and berate us

These the portals of glory

There is light placed within us 

For Jesus is its source

And His radiance rends us

With omnipotent force

What one day we’ll be

When we transcend the transitory

Will be amazing to see

For we are portals of Glory

Joy of every longing heart

The everlasting Light

Shine on oh lovely morning star

Speak to us this Holy night

Oh child of whom the angels sing

What marv’lous mystery

You came to be the offering

Yet you made eternity

The angels sing in triumph now 

The Father’s plan to praise

You are the why and are the how

Redemption’s way is raised

Joy of every longing heart

who love the woman’s seed

To holiness  set us apart

This is our deepest need

We magnify our peace’s prince

Abide with us e’re long

Go and Tell

There is a prison we can’t see 

With walls as strong as stone

A tomb of our captivity 

Where spirits cannot even moan

A place where men languish 

in delusions bright and strong

A place to hide their anguish 

in illusions all life long

That world is a prison 

The world is a blight

There one has no vision 

No songs in the night

All captives in a captivity 

With no way to pay their bail

Go tell them there is a key

that can free them from their jail

There is a God of mercy the Holy God of grace

A God of real forgiveness And souls he would embrace

And if they will believe it Truth calls them to repent

 that can give them eyes to see

The Grace of God

The Grace of God opened my ear

And opened the eyes of my heart

The voice of Christ I joy to hear

For new life it imparts

By grace was contrived the way

The rebel soul to save
