Go and Tell

There is a prison we can’t see 

With walls as strong as stone

A tomb of our captivity 

Where spirits cannot even moan

A place where men languish 

in delusions bright and strong

A place to hide their anguish 

in illusions all life long

That world is a prison 

The world is a blight

There one has no vision 

No songs in the night

All captives in a captivity 

With no way to pay their bail

Go tell them there is a key

that can free them from their jail

So go and tell go and tell There is a heaven and a hell

There is a God of mercy the Holy God of grace

A God of real forgiveness And souls he would embrace

And if they will believe it Truth calls them to repent 

So pray they will receive it-Wrath on sin will relent

For there is a freedom 

for which they can be free

A steadfast deliverer

 that can give them eyes to see

If they’re willing to believe it 

that’s the sign it will be done

But only if they’ll receive it, 

only then their pardon is won
