For those with eyes to see-With vision unobscured
There’s a reality-That evermore endures
For those with eyes to see-The state of desperate men
Lost in their fantasy-That sight their heart will rend
For vision is a two edged sword
It cuts and cleaves both ways
And sometimes we cannot afford
To close our eyes and pray
For men’s hearts have grown callous; -And they have closed their eyes.
Their hearts are full of malice-Their mouths are full of lies
If they would only turn-With their hearts, understand
The lesson they would learn-And be healed by God's hand.
Yes, vision is a two edged sword
It cuts and cleaves both ways
And sometimes we cannot afford
To close our eyes and pray
A greater vision calls Out of the darkest night
It crashes through the walls- And floods the mind with light
For pleasures may depart- And ease and comfort flee
The truth convicts the heart -For those with eyes to see
For those with eyes to see,
For those with eyes to see.
