But for our Savior, God’s Son
Our great blessing and great need
Today he stands to intercede
Comfort the grieving
Convict the complacent
Fill the lonely with the very
Sense of your presence
Show us your steadfast Love
Work in our hearts
Transform us anew
Show us your kindness Lord
All those who take refuge in You
Shine light on the hidden
Revive the backslidden
Who in darkness languish
Save us from sin’s anguish
We pray to you Oh Lord
As the beloved in Christ proclaim
Do these things and more for
Those who truly fear your name
