There By the Grace of God Go I

The Lord will keep you to the end

And then beyond through heaven’s gates

To that eternal holy land

Where our home fore’er awaits.

Of heaven’s joys I will sing

This shall be my offering

For there is nothing I can bring

To gain my entrance there

There by the Grace of God Go I

For He’s taught me what I need to help me die

Not just what he’s saved me from

But what He’s brought me to

And by His Grace He will see me through.

My only hope is in the Lord

For He tells me in His Word

He has written my name

On the palm of His hand

So He will Keep me safely there
