Lord give the gift of happy tears
Let them wash away my fears
As the Good News my heart hears
Happy tears will flow
My hard heart melts within me
As I ponder grace and glory
And when I fall down on my knees
Happy tears will flow
Tears of joy as your Grace I apprehend
I will weep for joy as mercy you extend
In your presence I am undone
As I realize what You’ve begun
Tears of joy flow in this glory once again
Happy tears roll down my face
As I contemplate amazing Grace
Happy tears begin to flow
As My Lord I come to know
I am struck with awe and fear
Tremble as you’re drawing near
In your very presence here
Happy tears will flow
Lost in wonder at your ways
As my soul begins to praise
Humbly I lift up my gaze
Happy tears still flow
Tears of joy as your Grace I apprehend
