In Your Presence, Lord

Lord You are our great desire

In Your presence we would abide

We come now as Your own, boldly before Your throne

You receive us with arms open wide

Lord You are our greatest treasure

Your Word is more precious than gold

We belong, Lord, to You, You belong to us too

In Your presence are joys untold

In Your presence, Lord in Your presence

This where we want to remain

To abide in the Vine is Your holy design

Bearing fruit that our hearts can’t contain

Lord You are our Great provider

Our sufficiency is found in You

May Your mercy and grace overflow in this place

For Lord, You are Faithful and True

In Your presence, Lord in Your presence

This where we want to remain

To abide in the vine is Your holy design

Bearing fruit that our hearts can’t contain

You Are Our Hiding Place

How abundant is your goodness, Lord

Which you have worked for us

We who take refuge in you-

In our fortress we will trust

If we should doubt your care, Lord

And for other cover run

Other shelters won't protect us

When the day is over and done

Lord you are so good to us

A sure and safe stronghold

In the day of trouble

We are safe within your fold

For none who take refuge in you

Will ever lack your grace

Lord you are a shield to us

You are our hiding place

We are weak but you are strong

We rest in your sufficiency

We need protection all day long

A place of rescue and security

Lord you are so good to us

A sure and safe stronghold

In the day of trouble

We are safe within your fold

For none who take refuge in you

Will ever lack your grace

Lord you are a shield to us

You are our hiding place

Vanity of Vanities

Vanity of vanities

All is hollow

Nothing really matters much

Life lays fallow

Void and vain futility

So Meaningless

Empty, pointless delusions

Trivialness.

Thus now says the hollow man

Making all his pointless plans

Verily void of value

Now pursued without a clue

Pride, it is its own reward

As Is our Sin

Vanity of vanities

Insanity

Absurdity is deadly

So valueless

Bankrupt in its poverty

True hopelessness

Thus now says the hollow man

Making all his pointless plans

Verily void of value

Now pursued without a clue

The Mystery of Godliness

Great indeed, we confess,

Is the mystery of godliness:

He was manifested in the flesh,

The Spirit justified His Name

He was witnessed by the angels,

And among the nations was proclaimed,

Great indeed, we confess,

Is the mystery of godliness

Because of Jesus we are blessed

To live our lives in holiness

He was believed on in the world,

And then taken up in glory.

He is seated upon heaven’s throne

Reigning now in victory

Great indeed, we confess,

Is the mystery of godliness

Great indeed, we confess,

Is the mystery of godliness

The Apple of God’s Eye

Oh the cherished of the Lord

The apple of Your eye

Hid in the shadow of Your wings

Our helper from on High

Protection and Intimate love

Is in Your presence found

We are the apple of Your eye

To righteousness we’re bound

If we treasure your sure Word

And on it we rely

We will dwell in holiness

As the apple of Your eye…

We guard Your perfect teachings

As the apple of our eye

We live and move and have our being

You hear our every cry

In a dry and weary desert land

And in the howling wilderness

You encircled, cared and kept us

By protective love we’re blessed

If we treasure your sure Word

And on it we rely

We will dwell in holiness

As the apple of Your eye…

Contemplate the Cross

My Lord was nailed unto a tree

Upon the cross of Calvary

There upon the cross He became Sin

And we become the righteousness of God IN Him

So for the joy that was before Him set

He despised the shame and paid the debt

Then from the grave He arose God be praised

By the Father Son and Spirit  He was raised

No end of wonder  I’ll fall on my face

There in the weight of glory and God’s grace

No end of wonder that He took my place

There in the weight of glory and God’s grace

Bridge

Oh perfect propitiation

Oh exquisite expiation

Our Sin was taken away

When mercy flowed from the cross that day

And if Christ was not forsaken there, we cannot be saved

For on that cross our sin was taken with Him to the grave

And praise the Lord He left it there when He rose again

The death of death has set us free from the rule of Sin

Though other truths I’ll fully apprehend

The cross of Christ I will never comprehend

The more I ponder, the more the mystery

I will contemplate the cross for eternity

No end of wonder  I’ll fall on my face

There in the weight of glory and God’s grace

No end of wonder that He took my place

There in the weight of glory and God’s grace

Heralds of the Good News

We go out to proclaim

Bold and unashamed

We are the heralds of the good news

We go to tell the nations

About our Lord’s salvation

The truth to clarify to the confused

We are the heralds of the good news

We are the heralds of Good News

The works of  the one who would accuse

Have been destroyed for death has died

With the holy one who was crucified

He died to take away our sin

He arose to take us home with Him

Without this Truth one can only lose

But we are the heralds of the Good News

The world at large is lost in lies

Doing what’s right in their own eyes

Living on destruction’s wide wide road

The bad news we shall tell

There really is a Hell

But there is One who reaps what they have sowed

If they will trust Him Jesus takes their load

We are the heralds of Good News

The works of  the one who would accuse

Have been destroyed for death has died

With the holy one who was crucified

He died to take away our sin

He arose to take us home with Him

Without this Truth one can only lose

But we are the heralds of the Good News
