The Pearl of Greatest Price

When in our suffering, on Jesus we rely

Christ’s all sufficient grace we magnify

When all around our soul gives away

If we cling to him, mercy is on display

Ease and comfort is no friend to growing deep

But we may grasp the depths of God’s love when we weep

As we are weaned off self and onto Grace

His power is perfected in His strong embrace

This is the pearl of greatest price

The presence of our Savior Jesus Christ

For when I am weak, then he is strong

For he draws me close to him where I belong

When the power of my Lord rests up on me

I become a mirror of his glory

Christ has become my priceless pearl

And I desire him more than all the world

This is the pearl of greatest price

The presence of our Savior Jesus Christ

For when I am weak, then he is strong

For he draws me close to him where I belong

Spirit, Move

I feel the Spirit move deep inside of me,

Since He’s going to prove that He can set me free

I’ve been a captive of my culture I regret to say

I’m convicted and convinced of this when I turn to pray

So Holy Spirit, take me to that Holy Place

Where I can see more clearly the glories of your grace

I seek a deeper blessing, glory to apprehend

And so I am confessing and pray that He will rend

The thick and heavy veil that has obscured my sight

I pray I will not fail to walk within His light

So Holy Spirit, take me to that Holy Place

Where I can see more clearly the glories of your grace

Distractions and delusions can complicate what’s true

So destroy my illusions of what I think of You

Now take me deeper by Your Word and give me eyes to see

And help me do what I have heard then Truth shall set me free

So Holy Spirit, take me to that Holy Place

Where I can see more clearly the glories of your grace

I have presuppositions that limit what I know

And I’m in no position those thoughts to overthrow

But your Word is a two-edged sword to divide marrow and bone

To neglect it, I cannot afford- to not own it as my own

So Holy Spirit, take me to that Holy Place

Where I can see more clearly the glories of your grace

Holy Spirit, take me to that Holy Place

Where I can see more clearly the glories of your grace

The Hope Broker

Souls in anguish and in pain

Suffering  in silence

Despairing under sins reign

VIctims of true violence

Who no longer can cope

With that reality

Crying out for a hope

That they can be set free

Christ is the Hope-broker-For the heart broken

Take courage weary soul-In the Word He has spoken

For He will never forsake-Even beyond the grave

He’ll touch your deepest ache When forgiveness you crave

For his own name's sake--For Jesus saves

For the heavy laden, weary

From man-made expectations

There are rich mercies

Unexpected jubilation

Comfort and healing

A Holy meeting place

So much more than a feeling

It’s the power of grace

When my spirit's not willing

And my flesh is so weak

My hard soil Christ is tilling

And it’s Him I must seek

So call out in His name

E'r in joy or despair

Hear God‘s Spirit proclaim

You are safe in His care

Christ is the Hope-broker-For the heart broken

Take courage weary soul-In the Word He has spoken

For He will never forsake-Even beyond the grave

He’ll touch your deepest ache When forgiveness you crave

For His own name’s sake--For Jesus saves

Christ Our Redeemer

Christ our Redeemer saved our souls

His mercies we proclaim

His image in us he makes whole

We glorify his name

Christ our redeemer ransomed us

And freed poor slaves of sin

So in his grace we ere shall trust

Our savior is our friend

I know that my redeemer lives

And I shall see him on that day

Till then assurance now he gives

That he will keep me all the way

Christ our redeemer paid the cost

Atonement to secure

He came to seek and save the lost

Salvation now is sure

Christ our redeemer ever lives

to ever intercede

With steadfast love he forgives

So from our guilt we’re freed

I know that my redeemer lives

And I shall see him on that day

Till then assurance now he gives

That he will keep me all the way

Christ our redeemer now transforms

Our hearts and renews minds

Till in our souls we are conformed

To Christ the living vine

Christ our redeemer soon returns

Redemption now draws nigh

For his revealing each heart yearns

For That day or when we die

I know that my redeemer lives

And I shall see him on that day

Till then assurance now he gives

That he will keep me all the way

Mustard Seed

Now faith is like a mustard seed

It grows strong when it’s brought low

And it goes without knowing

Into what is growing

Whether the harvest comes fast or slow

Like a tiny mustard seed

Faith’s spark can be so small

When the flame grows higher

Can grow into a great fire

So a tiny spark is more than none at all

Like that seed, Christ came a tiny thing

A thing of no repute or fame

Insignificant in this world’s eye

The things of earth would pass him by

Without a home Without a name

But angels were host to his lowly birth

And again at his ignoble death

Buried like a mustard seed

From the veil of earth was freed

To rise with mighty resurrection breath

Like a tiny mustard seed

Faith’s spark can be so small

When the flame grows higher

Can grow into a great fire

So a tiny spark is more than none at all

The Stage

This falling short of glory falls short of heaven’s throne

On the dungheap of despair, covered with ashes all alone

And so the world becomes a stage where history is played

But on its moments day by day, life’s cornerstone is laid

Each moment has significance for in God they are found

Each day counts for forever each place is holy ground

But God will build His kingdom within this fallen world

His plans for all the ages in time and space unfurled

All the world’s a stage, a place of rage and glory

It plays from age to age, and writ on every page is God’s story

And all the world’s a stage

All the world’s a stage

By His will and Word He will build it not of mortar or of stone

His fortress is the hearts of men who know as they are known

Then from glory unto glory the Savior he shall lead

And who the Son sets free shall be free indeed

So this will be the theme of time- the history of Grace

Extended to any who desire to seek the Savior’s face

What God declares now He shall see when his Kingdom comes

For this is its very purpose- is for God’s will to be done

All the world’s a stage, a place of rage and glory

It plays from age to age, and writ on every page is God’s story

And all the world’s a stage

All the world’s a stage
