The Shepherd's Fold

Held fast forever in my Shepherd’s hand

No one can snatch me from his mighty grasp

In the shelter of this rock I take my stand

Nothing can release me from his clasp

Hope is rising in his grip

He will never let me slip

From my refuge and stronghold

Here within the Shepherd's fold

In the Shepherd's fold there is a refuge

A rock within his sheltering wings

A tower to protect me from the deluge

And the security my Shepherd brings

The everlasting arms are beneath me 

The Spirit of the Lord in me abides

Nothing of the devil‘s wiles can reach me

While my soul beneath his wings still hides

Jagged Soul

I am such a jagged soul

One big unholy mess 

But my Jesus makes me whole

And gives me righteousness 

Such a ragged ruin am I

Bound to fail on my own

To live I have got to die

To be more than flesh and bone

This jagged soul on the ragged edge

Trusting in the Savior’s pledge

To transform me and make me whole

So to perfect this jagged soul

My desires they are far too poor

When glory days  await

Christ, make my election sure

Lord Jesus this I pray

Lord of Song

“Well, I declare” said the heavens 

I praise God‘s glory all day long 

The skies proclaim the work of his hands 

Without words, they are singing his song 

The sun, it joins in the chorus

And the moonlight, his knowledge reveals 

They have no speech, they use no words 

But they dance to his righteous reels 

Since creation the song ever rises 

And it echoes ever pure ever strong 

Proclaiming God’s eternal power 

And the nature of the Lord of Song

His words are pure music to my ear

And to all who to him belong

My heart wants to join in the singing

In the presence of the Lord of song

So I will sing to the Lord of Song

With the music of the spheres

I will join and sing along

Inhabit the praise you hear

Let the Hills all sing for joy

Jesus Be Near

Be our strength Jesus when we are weak 

Our comfort that casts away fear 

Lord, be the source of the answers we seek 

In this wilderness, Jesus be near 

Where there is trauma, Jesus, bring peace 

Where there is darkness, Lord be our light 

Where there is bondage be our release

Where we are wrong, make us right 

With your perfect presence surround us

Enveloped in your strong right hand

With your mighty arms around us

We’re encircled by peace we can’t understand

Jesus be near when our hearts ache 

Draw us close when the way is not clear 

Embrace us for your very name's sake

Just What I Needed

I was dead in my spirit -In my flesh I was dying 

You spoke- I just couldn’t hear it-Even thought I was trying

Didn’t know what I didn’t know -Or that sin is a cancer 

Cut it out or let it grow -And there’s only one answer 

You were just what I needed -But I was running from you 

If you had not interceded -I don’t know what I would do 

You sought me and drew me-From a horrible fate 

You spoke a Word to me -A new life to create 

You are just what I needed

A savior and friend

You’re just what I needed

You’re true to the end

You’re just what I needed

Now as then in the past

You’re just what I needed

Jesus, on you my needs I cast

You were just what I needed -Though I hadn’t a clue 

Till I heard and I heeded-Your call to follow you

We Shall Come Rejoicing

We shall come rejoicing when the harvest is o’er 

Joyful songs we’ll be voicing as our spirits soar

As the trumpet sounds, we shall shield our eyes

As his Majesty splits open the eastern skies  

Past and present Saints meet him in the air 

The dead in Christ shall rise and in the praise they’ll share 

Glory hallelujah then will be our song 

For our Lord returns and it will not be long 

Then our Savior draws us near unto his side 

Those who are in Christ forever will abide 

At the consummation, His kingdom comes 

Once for all forever, it is said and done 

For then, our adoption shall be complete 

As the redeemed all gather at the mercy seat

Eternal praise, united will then begin 

As it was in the beginning, it shall be at the end 

There are some things that remain a mystery 

When there is no Sin for eternity 

We shall see God’s promises forever true 

There in glory eternal we sing our hallelu!

Then our Savior draws us near unto his side 

Those who are in Christ forever will abide
