Christ, our Soul’s Shelter

Christ is sanctuary 

For the oppresed

The weak and the weary 

In him find rest

With his saints we dwell

Neath his sheltering wings

For there all is well

Hid in him the soul sings

I just fell through the doors of Grace

It wasn’t my plan to be in this place

The door  opened up, and I fell through

It wasn’t at all what I planned to do

The doors of Grace just opened a wide

So I can’t boast I can’t have pride

It was a going without knowing thing

That helped me write this song I sing

Cling to Christ

Sinners we were when first called

Called to be ransomed from the fall

Sinners we’ve been even at our best

So of our need, we shall confess

For fresh absolution plead
