Everlasting Father

O my everlasting Father
I am your little child
Since you called me to believe
I am saved and reconciled
You offer constant care
You are my source and guide
Held fast forever in your love
This is where I will abide

You are purposeful and patient

You encourage and promote

You are forever present

When all others are remote

Your wisdom is so practical

You protect me and provide

Oh my everlasting Father

Beneath your wings I hide

O my everlasting Father

I will give to you

The obedience of faith

And the honor that is due

In your arms are my security

I am safe in your embrace

You will not forsake me

No matter what I face

O my everlasting Father

I am your little child

Since you called me to believe

I am saved and reconciled

You offer constant care

You are my source and guide

Held fast forever in your love

This is where I will abide

The God Who Walks on Water

Seeking refuge in isolation.

My soul is bound in lamentation.

With a burden that seems too much to bear

Seeking for a place to cast my cares

There’s a darkness I cannot describe

And a prevalent unholy vibe

Where without knowing you must go

And you truly know that you don’t know

I will trust in the God who walks on water

I will trust in the God who raised the dead

I will trust in the God who died and rose again

For by his life my soul is fed.

There is one who stands in the gap

There’s a way that won’t show on your map

How to tread the path of wakefulness

This is the way of the wilderness

No comforts there in the shadow of death

It will surely take away your breath

You can curl up like Elijah

Or flee to the shelter of his wings-He’ll hide ya

I will trust in the God who walks on water

I will trust in the God who raised the dead

I will trust in the God who died and rose again

For by his life my soul is fed.

This is the home the heart desires

Where its better than a chariot of fire

No promise that your chariot will fly

There’s a better way to live and die

Where without knowing you must go

And you truly know that you don’t know

In Christ alone-in his embrace

He’ll not let you go no matter what you face

I will trust in the God who walks on water

I will trust in the God who raised the dead

I will trust in the God who died and rose again

For by his life my soul is fed.

Purity

God‘s promises are the  power

To defeat temptation each hour

I could cut off my hand and gouge out my eye

But instead on this promise I will rely

Blessed are the pure and heart

Blessed are the pure and heart

To be purified and set apart

Helps me know my Jesus more

This is what I was created for

The pure in heart will see God

The pure in heart will see God

To have a treasure in the field,

To know and love and to yield

He is the pearl of great price

So on Jesus I will fix my eyes

Blessed are the pure and heart

Blessed are the pure and heart

To be purified and set apart

Helps me know my Jesus more

This is what I was created for

The pure in heart will see God

The pure in heart will see God

I will ascend the holy hill and stand

With a pure heart and with clean hands

One day, I’ll see his face when I am dead

And his name will be on my forehead

Blessed are the pure and heart

Blessed are the pure and heart

To be purified and set apart

Helps me know my Jesus more

This is what I was created for

The pure in heart will see God

The pure in heart will see God
