Turn the World Upside Down

Empty out all the idol temples

Live a life that’s holy and pure

Overcome deadness and darkness

Do much more than just endure

We must bear a cross to gain a crown

If we would turn the world upside down

To demolish strongholds is the charge

To take captive every thought

To tear down every argument

Raised up that the world has bought

The spirit of the age we must confound

If we would turn the world upside down

So put on the armor of our Lord

Ravage the spirit of the age

Our weapons we must not lay down

Rise up while the nations rage

By the blood of Christ, we must be bound

If we would turn the world upside down

We must not forsake the higher ground

If we would turn the world upside down

If we would turn the world upside down

If we would turn the world upside down

Those Who Take Refuge In Him

Those who take refuge in Him

Will surely escape condemnation

Those who take refuge in Him

Be blessed with a great salvation

Those who take refuge in Him

Have a stronghold when trouble’s revealed

For those who take refuge in Him

He is a fortress and a shield

For desperation makes no demands

We are hiding because we are weak

We are held fast forever in His holy hands

Pleas for Mercy and Grace we now seek

For there is no other shelter

There is no other hiding place

No other refuge is sufficient

And no other rescue, but Grace

There is no other rescue, but Grace

There is no other rescue,  but Grace

Kept

All that I have I have received

Even the faith to believe

The hope by which I set my sights

Comes down from the Father of lights.

I have no boast, I have no claim

On any power to meet my aim

But what’s required God will provide

Till Christ will draw me to His side

What do I have that I was not given?

What gift of Grace that’s not from heaven?

I’m not my own- I am blood bought

And my keeper knows my every thought.

And every time I take a breath

I am preserved from very death.

All that I see,  all that I am

Is subject to my Keeper’s plan

Chorus

You never slumber you never sleep

My going out and coming in You keep

I am held fast forever, I’ll not be afraid

You are my keeper you are my shade

Both in my first and second birth

I did not contribute stuff of worth

Nothing within me caused God’s choice

This I will reckon- and rejoice!

Now deep is calling unto deep

For my sin-sick soul Jesus shall keep.

My pondering must surely cease

As I instead fall on my knees

Yes I’ll bow down and I’ll accept

That all my life I have been kept

God will preserve me through this life

Through every danger toil and strife

All I’m spared from I cannot know.

As I sojourn this world below.

My deliverer shall vouchsafe me

Thru death into eternity.

Repeat Chorus twice

Free from Sin

Jesus is my freedom

He is all my soul needs

For whom the Son sets free

Is truly free indeed

Set free from the bondage

Of trying to please man

Set free by the knowledge

He is holding my hand

Freed from sin and freed from shame

This is the reason that he came

Standing spotless without blame

For the sake of Jesus name

Now I walk in freedom

For Christ has set me free

Living in his kingdom

Alive with Liberty

Freed from sin and freed from shame

This is the reason that he came

Standing spotless without blame

For the sake of Jesus name

Freed from sin and freed from shame

This is the reason that he came

Standing spotless without blame

For the sake of Jesus name

Hard Heart Breaker

Hearts of stone must be destroyed

For God’s love to be enjoyed

For to live as One with our maker

We must encounter the hard heartbreaker

Hardened hearts must be replaced

With a heart that’s formed from Grace

Of Christ’s sufferings to be a partaker

On the anvil of the heartbreaker

The heart that sins needs to be freed

But it’s unaware of its deepest need

Jesus is Sin’s undertaker

Our warrior king is the heartbreaker

A hard heart is filled with pride

To truly believe, it must have died

The stubborn soul needs a soul shaker

And yield unto the hard heartbreaker

Christ will remove a heart of stone

A heart of flesh comes from him alone

The Prince of Peace is the peacemaker

Come, give your heart to the heartbreaker

Follow and Obey

We are strangers in a strange, strange land

And this is our trust each and every day

We have a Lord, who is in command

So we will follow and obey

We are pilgrims in a wilderness

And the Spirit must show us the way

If we would walk in blessedness

Then we must follow and obey

In this weary world where the road is long

Through life’s dangers, we must learn to pray

If we would walk right, we will not go wrong

So we must follow and obey

Bridge

If we follow, we will persevere

But we know our shepherd is our guide

Though the destination be unclear

Through faith’s obedience, we will abide!

Now our very life is a trust and a test

For it’s what we do, not just what we say

If we’d shed our burden and in him rest

Then we must follow and obey

With the Spirit, we must keep in step

Or we will wander and go astray

Then we will abide and we will be kept

If we follow and obey

If we follow and obey

If we follow and obey

I Will Look to the Cross of Christ

I will look to the cross of Christ

I will look to his sacrifice

There the love of Christ constrains me

To forsake the sin that stains me

I will look to the cross of Christ

There I see I was bought with a price

Then to myself, I shall not live

But to him- my life I shall give

Is my heart too ready to love earthly things?

Am I too concerned with gain and loss?

Lord, help me be a living offering,

I will look to  the cross

I will look to the cross

There I see that I am not my own

I am bound to glorify Christ alone

There he gave himself for me

To redeem me from all iniquity

I will look to the cross of Christ

His atonement has sufficed

He bore my sins upon that tree

That his righteousness I might be

Trust in the Lord (With All Your Heart)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart

And His peace He will impart

On your own understanding do not lean

Live in the light of the unseen

Trust therefore in the Lord!

Trust therefore in the Lord!

Acknowledge God in all your ways

He will guide you all your days

He will make your pathway straight

He will work for you when on Him you wait

Trust therefore in the Lord!

Trust therefore in the Lord!t
