The Mountain

Christ can move the mountain of our sin

Remove it to be cast into the sea

With faith alone in Christ it can begin-

The impossible is a possibility.

A mustard  seed of faith  will see

The mountains are defeated

The mountains are brought low

If that faith’s object  has authority

The will and power to see it completed

And the righteous wisdom to make it so

Yea, the mountain is cast into the deep

Never to be called upon again

for his promise he shall truly keep

There’s no longer condemnation for our sin

The mountain will prevail and it will crush us

Unless we find a savior we can trust

The mountain is removed

By one whose might has been proved

By trampling the mountains into dust

Yea the mountains are brought low

He shall lift up every valley

The crooked straighten as an arrow

And rough places plain by His mercy

And the glory of the Lord we shall see

God has spoken so this will come to be
