Over the chaos your Spirit hovered
A formless and void nothing your presence covered
You called light out of darkness Tamed the monstrous deep
You began the promise you promised to keep
From what sleeping rocks dream of sprang reality
And tohu va vohu begat boundless beauty
You spoke into chaos- lo, your will was done
Creation was sourced in Father Spirit and Son
Chorus
You still speak to dark waters, change chaos to rhyme
You speak your Good Word in and out all of time
In every conflict the victory's won
You speak to dark waters, lo, your will is done...
The One Eternal Word was spoken in grace
To every danger and wildness and waste
For every life that seems formless and void
Now even death by that Word is destroyed
To whatever darkness and chaos you face
The Lord will speak power and mercy and grace
He'll speak into the darkness and light issues forth
And faith comes by hearing and knowing its worth
Chorus
You still speak to dark waters, change chaos to rhyme
You speak your Good Word in and out all of time
In every conflict the victory's won
You speak to dark waters, lo, your will is done...

Grace is Sufficient
Lord you make a way for us
And guide us with your light
through the shadows in the valley
And on through the darkest night
Lord we want to bless your name
Your mercies overflow
Abounding love shall be our guide
And all we need to know.
Your grace is sufficient
More than sufficient
It burst the boundaries we set
It floods our soul with deep content
Your grace is sufficient
More than sufficient
Your grace is sufficient for me.
All that is in me, all that I am
There is nothing I would withhold
Power is perfected in my weakness
Your presence Lord will make me bold
Your grace is sufficient
More than sufficient
It burst the boundaries we set
It floods our soul with deep content
Your grace is sufficient
More than sufficient
Your grace is sufficient for me.
I want to live with grace
I want to die with grace
Like a chariot of fire
I want to fly to your embrace
Your grace is sufficient
More than sufficient
It burst the boundaries we set
It floods our soul with deep content
Your grace is sufficient
More than sufficient
Your grace is sufficient for me.

Turn My Prayer into a Song
Every prayer is a psalm unto the Lord
He hears each petition that's outpoured
When to the Lord we turn
He hears the hearts that yearn
In prayer His good pleasure we afford
For when I learn to sing my prayer
A new song of praise my lips shall bear
As I learn to raise
This sacrifice of praise
It becomes a fragrance beyond compare.
Chorus
Lord turn my prayer into a song
That I might sing it all day long
And your perfect peace
Will never cease
To make this frail child strong.
As prayer turns to praise his presence God imparts
This peaceable fruit becomes a work of His art
The Lord is glorified
As His name is lifted High
And in turn The Lord lifts up our hearts.
Bridge
His presence provides a healing balm
When our prayer becomes a psalm
Our minds and spirits Christ will calm
I will pray with my spirit, I will pray with my mind
I will sing with my spirit, I will sing with my mind
Chorus
Lord turn my prayer into a song
That I might sing it all day long
And your perfect peace
Will never cease
To make this frail child strong.

Taste and See
Taste and see -Taste and see the Lord, the Lord He is good...
Let your heart come and savor righteousness
Taste and see-Tune your heart and mind till you have understood
Partake of the holy flavor of blessedness
Come enjoy the pleasures this world can't replace
Come develop a palate for mercy and grace
Don't be satisfied with morsels, come to His feast
Savor the flavor of glory and see it released.
Taste and see-For of the shadows you have had a foretaste
For echoes of glory are everywhere
Taste and see-Now savor the substance on which they are based
For in Christ is every answer to your prayers
You have basked in His warm rays, now look at the Son
Let your heart heed the music and be overcome
Oh don't let your deepest hunger be denied.
Go on to the banquet and be satisfied
Taste and see...-Focus your eyes and His splendor you'll face
I pray you'll pursue with all your might
Taste and see-At the cross is displayed mercy truth and great grace
Now taste of pure glory and savor the sight.
Lovingkindness and goodness are found in His name
Your desires are but embers, be fanned to a flame
When glory's revealed its fire will refine
Your heart and your soul and your mind.
Taste and see-The good, the beautiful and the true
Take pleasure in His presence for eternity
Live and Be-find their source in Him who makes all things new
This gift is yours if you will taste and see.
Feel your soul strangely warmed by this consuming fire
The enticement of glory girds every desire.
Oh don't let your deepest hunger be denied.
Go on to the banquet and be satisfied!

There's a Light
There's a light shining in the darkness so men might have sight
In our hearts - it overcomes the darkest night
There's a light-driving out the darkness from eternity
May it shine-So that everyone might see.
There's a hope in a word that is true
In this hope, we can all be made new
For it proves itself faithful throughout all of time
We believe in this light, light so sublime
In this light-The knowledge of great glory is now revealed
Op'n our eyes to see what was once concealed
There is love By the Spirit shed abroad in our hearts
And a hope that springs eternal it imparts.
There is hope in this light that is true
There is joy in a dawn ever new
There is peace and the promise of permanent release
There is love for the very least of these
There is light Shining from the glory of His face
So we walk In the marvelous light of this grace
And this light Illumines souls who his name confess
We are lights of the world destined to bless
Bridge: Now as our hearts are brightened
A living love is born
Like the temple veil, our hearts by glory are torn
We reflect it now-to bring a brand new morn
There is light lighting up lives of those who believe
And this light's- never conquered, we perceive
If we walk in the light now as He is in the light…
His blood cleanses from all sin and sets us right
There is hope in this light that is true
There is joy in a dawn ever new
There is peace and the promise of permanent release
There is love for the very least of these

Word of Life
Your Word is light and hope to us
Your promise and commands
Make our hearts to burn in us
Help us understand!
Light our paths with radiance
Reveal to us the way
For with this gift our heart repents
Now teach us how to pray
Oh Lord where else can we go?
You are the Living Word
You are the Light we need to know
The Word of Life that must be heard
Your word is like a two edged sword
Striking to our core
Dividing truth from error
It stands forevermore.
Your word is truth unvarnished
Good news for us to hear
It never returns void
To those with a list'ning ear.
Oh Lord where else can we go?
You are the Living Word
You are the Light we need to know
The Word of Life that must be heard

Touch Our Hearts Oh God!
There is a time, I know not when, A place, I know not where,
Which marks the destiny of men To heaven or despair.
There is a line by us not seen Which crosses every path,
The hidden boundary between God’s patience and His wrath.
How long may men go on in sin? How long will God forbear?
Where does hope end, and where begin The confines of despair?
One answer from those skies is sent, “You who from God depart,
Now hear the Good News and repent, and harden not your heart.”
Oh trust in a dear Savior whose work made wrath relent
Receive the gift of grace fall on your knees and now repent.
Confess your sin to Jesus for He is faithful He is true
He'll cleanse all your unrighteousness, forgive and make you new.
Touch our hearts, Oh God- Your touch is what we need
For sin sick souls require-from sin to be freed.
Come now still and small-or touch us with your fire
When we receive your touch-You are our heart's desire.
Touch us anew with glory for this glory we pray
That You would touch us all and touch us all the way
When on that hardened heart God knocks, open the door to find
An exit there from darkness and new sight for the blind
Oh, bask in blessed assurance and see the old man changed
From lawless into flawless, then eternal life is gained!
Oh trust in a dear Savior whose work made wrath relent
Receive the gift of grace fall on your knees and now repent.
Confess your sin to Jesus for He is faithful He is true
He'll cleanse all your unrighteousness, forgive and make you new.

More of Christ
Help me for I am fallen and I cannot get up
The dust that I am made of is calling unto dust
Help me for I am broken and But all I see is pain
Blinded by lesser graces the Grace of God I fain
I sang a Christian song I prayed a Christian prayer
Heard countless Christian sermons
In a building burning with despair
Is any lostness worse than remaining lost
while believing that you’re found?
Is there a greater obscene cost than being hell bound
Strip away distractions
Take away dissatisfactions
I fill my life with, to my loss
I cannot discern the cost
Now let it all be sacrificed,
if it will get me more of Christ.
Now let it all be sacrificed,
if it will get me more of Christ.
Drinking sand in a desert While thinking it was wine
To play the saint to play the game, faining pearls just like the swine
I sat in my finest church clothes Running straight to hell
Lost in a dire delusion Sinking at perditions well
Feeding fatal dreams while hiding my contempt
Feeding my illusions Failing at a fool's attempt
Hearing is not sufficient I must heed what's true and plain
A faith that won't obey the Word Is useless void and vain
Strip away distractions
Take away the actions
I fill my life with, to my loss
I cannot discern the cost
Now let it all be sacrificed,
if it will get me more of Christ.
Now let it all be sacrificed,
if it will get me more of Christ.

He Who Made the Pleiades and Orion
He who made the Pleiades and Orion,
and darkens day to night, and it is done
and turns deep darkness into the dawn
who calls the waters of the sea His pawn
and pours them out on the surface of the earth,
the Lord is his name- the name of matchless worth!
We name the sovereign name that we exalt and we adore
The name above all names-the Name of Christ our Lord
We lift your Name on High as we declare your fame
So if we live or if we die we hallow your great name
He who made the seashores and the dry land
And knows the number of the grains of sand
He who made the Scylla and Charibdis
He made the tender mother's kiss
He wove the wondrous warp and woof of woe
And made the blind and lame and deaf also.
We name the sovereign name that we exalt and we adore
The name above all names-the Name of Christ our Lord
We lift your Name on High as we declare your fame
So if we live or if we die we hallow your great name
