The Joy of the Lord is My Stronghold

May your Glory be my gladness

As You work my joy from sadness

This is part of your design

It will be an everlasting sign.

Gospel Waters

For the sinsick soul, there’s a river 

Flowing down from Heaven’s throne

Gospel waters ever living

Streams of mercy are forgiving

Every sin that I have ever known

Baptize me within that river

Plunge me deep, there I would go

There You’ll wash away my Sin, 

Make me an old sinner has-been

For that River’s where the cleansing waters flow

Take me down (down down) to the river

Take me down (down down) and drown my Sin

Take me down (down down) to the river

In that Gospel water I’ll begin again.

Baptize me within that river

Gospel Waters wash and cleanse me

For to heaven Jesus sends me

There are so many forces in the world today

That conspire over my heart to hold sway

But there is one Word that I would obey

I will live for the King of my soul.

My Faithful Friend

Well I blows my mind and it soothes my soul

I can say “Almighty God is my faithful friend.”

Omnipotent and in sovereign control

Pilgrim Path

There is a pilgrim way, 

a way in which we go

A way to life a way through light

We travel here below

We walk a pilgrim path

We’ll walk and not grow faint

We walk, we talk and we will not balk

We sojourn here as saints

Step by step We are kept

By the keeper of our souls

We keep the  pace  by God’s grace

As eternity surely rolls

We walk a pilgrim path

No need to mark our trail

We will not return for our home we yearn

And our journey will not fail.

The Lord will keep you to the end

And then beyond through heaven’s gates

To that eternal holy land

Where our home fore’er awaits.

Happy Tears

Lord give the gift of happy tears

Let them wash away my fears

As the Good News  my heart hears

Happy tears will flow

My hard heart melts within me 

As I ponder grace and glory

And when I fall down on my knees

Tears of joy as  your Grace I apprehend 

I will weep for joy as mercy you extend
