Our Great High Priest to this day stands
Our names Etched on His nail scarred hands
There in his flesh our names are graven
Before th’eternal throne in heaven
My shepherd ever intercedes
For this poor sinner ever pleads
My hope is in the blood he shed
His call has raised me from the dead.
Your everlasting goodness never fails
Your everlasting goodness Still prevails
Your goodness frames eternity
And you are good so good to me.
If Father God spared not His son
And the shepherd’s done all that must be done
How then would Abba e’re withhold
Any good thing from his fold?
His goodness ever follows me
And leads me with His good mercy
This truth for all of time has stood
What is for God’s glory is for our good
