Beneath These Rolling Skies

So many things that we possess

Can be shaken till they fall

They cannot be relied upon

They’re not trustworthy at all

But we possess  a more sure Word

Truths that are unshaken

Unshakeable though all else fails

The Promise will not be forsaken

There is nothing stable

Beneath these rolling skies

Change is written on all things.

Time takes its toll as it flies

Our country is Immanuel's land- 

Hope fixed in heaven forever 

A stake in God’s ultimate plan

And joy this world cannot sever

We have a Savior and we have a King

We have a hope that prevails

We have assurance salvation brings

A promise that never fails

Beyond the wreck of earthborn things

The rise and the fall of nations

We rejoice in treasure our Jesus brings

Secure in God- our salvation.
