Good Shepherd

Listen, listen oh you sheep

Listen, listen to the shepherd’s voice

You have gone astray and now you weep

Hear and heed his call and rejoice

Come follow your good shepherd 

Shelter in his safe stronghold

There you are kept and shall remain

Secure within the shepherd’s fold 

So come now little flock Plant your feet upon the Rock

And in pastures that are green come lie down

Oh little flock Heaven’s gate has been unlocked

By your good shepherd you have now been found

Surely goodness

Surely mercy will follow all your days all your live-long days

Surely goodness

Surely mercy will follow all the days all the days of your life

For your shepherd, He has been a lamb

But now as a lion He roars

No predator against him stands

He will defend His sheep forevermore

By the still waters He will lead

He will restore your soul within His keep.

The shepherd knows your every need 

And He lays down his life for His sheep
