What I Want To Be

I want to be a holy man

A man who does Your will

I want to be a godly man

A man who is Spirit filled

I want to be a Righteous man

One who is declared just

I want to be a fearless man

Because of whom I trust

All that I want to be is found in You

All that I want to be is faithful and true

Now I live in you and you live in me 

For I am not my own

The author and perfector of my faith 

is You and you alone

I want to be a peaceful man

A man who bears much fruit

I want to be an honest man

A man of good repute

I want to be a joyful man

Whose walk is upright

I want to be a bolder man

Who lives as  salt and light

All that I want to be is found in You

All that I want to be is faithful and true

Now I live in you and you live in me 

For I am not my own

is You and you alone
