Throne of Grace

The throne of God is the glorious throne

For glory rests there in God alone

To God’s presence there we have access

To dwell forever  in  blessedness

A place of power and authority

A place of honor and majesty

A place of justice, a place of praise

Where sovereign holiness is raised

Chorus

The throne of God is a throne of grace

In time of need come to this place

There mercy flows from God’s righteous hand

And there by grace You may boldly stand

At the throne of God Christ intercedes

When Satan roars our case He pleads

Our advocate, Our exalted priest

Has paid our ransom and we are released

The Throne of God is a mercy seat

Where mercy and justice meet

And from it righteousness rolls down

As ancient elders cast their crowns

Bridge

There the tree of life thrives and  grows

And  the  river of life forever flows

Where  all creation will bend the knee

Before the mighty King of Eternity

The throne of God is a throne of grace

In time of need come to this place

There mercy flows from God’s righteous hand

And there by grace You may boldly stand
